2012–13 Northern Arizona Lumberjacks Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Northern Arizona Lumberjacks men's basketball team represented Northern Arizona University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Lumberjacks, led by first year head coach Jack Murphy, played their home games at the Walkup Skydome, with two home games at the Rolle Activity Center, and were members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 11–21, 8–12 in Big Sky play to finish in a three-way tie for sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky tournament to Weber State. Jack Murphy (basketball)
Jack Murphy (born July 25, 1979) is an American college basketball coach currently the associate head coach for the Arizona Wildcats of the Pac-12 Conference. Previously, he had been an assistant at University of Memphis. Prior to serving on the Memphis staff, Murphy was an advance scout and video coordinator for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Murphy served in several roles at Arizona from 1998 to 2006, beginning as a student manager and eventually moving to recruiting coordinator, video analyst, and director of operations. During this time, he worked with former Memphis head coach Josh Pastner on the staff of Hall of Fame coach Lute Olson. In Murphy's time at Arizona, the Wildcats made eight straight NCAA tournament appearances, reaching the national championship game in 2001. The 2012–13 Oregon Ducks men's basketball team represented the University of Oregon during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Ducks, led by their third year head coach Dana Altman, were members of the Pac-12 Conference and played their home games at Matthew Knight Arena. They finished with a record of 28–9 overall, 12–6 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three-way tie for second place. Adams State University
Adams State University is a public university in Alamosa, Colorado. The university's Adams State Grizzlies athletic teams compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. History Adams State was founded in 1921 as a teacher's college. Billy Adams, a Colorado legislator who would later become a three-term governor of Colorado, worked for three decades before obtaining the authorization to found Adams State Normal School in 1921, to provide higher education opportunities for teachers from remote and rural areas of Colorado, such as the San Luis Valley, and see them work in those same areas. Haskell Indian Nations University is a public tribal land-grant university in Lawrence, Kansas, United States.
