2012–13 KML Season
The 2012–13 G4S Korvpalli Meistriliiga was the 88th season of the Estonian basketball league and the fourth under the title sponsorship of G4S. Kalev/Cramo came into the season as defending champions of the 2011–12 KML season. The season started on 10 October 2012 and concluded on 17 May 2013 with Kalev/Cramo defeating TÜ/Rock 4 games to 0 in the finals to win their 6th Estonian League title. The Korvpalli Meistriliiga 2011-2012 (KML) was the eighty-eighth season of top-tier basketball in Estonia. The season began in October 2011 and ended on 17 May 2012. Estonian Basketball Association
The Estonian Basketball Association ( et, Eesti Korvpalliliit) is the governing body of basketball in Estonia. It was founded in 1923, and joined FIBA in 1934. After 1940 though, they suspended operations due to being occupied by the Soviet Union. The Estonian Basketball Association operates the Estonian men's national team and Estonian women's national team. They organize national competitions throughout Estonia, for both the men's and women's senior teams and also the youth national basketball teams. The top professional league in Estonia is the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. Andres Sõber
Andres Sõber (born 25 April 1956) is an Estonian basketball coach and former professional player. Career Youth coach Sõber has been noted as one of the most successful youth coaches in Estonia. After retiring from professional basketball, he held basketball trainings for boys in Mustamäe district of Tallinn. With the team, which was frequently represented as Estonian SSR youth team, they won everything possible in their country, but also achieved valuable results over the Soviet Union. During the time, he was the first coach of the only Estonian to play in the NBA, Martin Müürsepp. Finland and Estonia After eight years of working with youngsters, Sõber spent 2 years making a living at the Tallinn Pedagogical Institute. He then moved to Finland, where he first served as a youth coach again, but soon became to conduct several Korisliiga teams. Rakvere Spordihall
Rakvere Spordihall is a multi-purpose arena in Rakvere, Estonia. It was built in 2004 and holds up to 2,422 people during sports events and up to 3,556 during concerts. When opened, it was the second largest sports arena in Estonia. It generally hosts basketball games, as well as volleyball and concerts. Rakvere
Rakvere is a town in northern Estonia and the administrative centre of the Lääne-Viru ''maakond'' (county), 20 km south of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea. Gert Kullamäe
Gert Kullamäe (born 3 June 1971) is an Estonian basketball coach and a former professional basketball player who currently coaches Estonian team BC Pärnu Sadam. Kullamäe mostly played at the shooting guard position and was a great 3-point shooter. As a player he is a seven-time Estonian Champion and also a Soviet Union, Lithuanian, Belgian and Dutch champion. Club career Kullamäe was born in Tallinn, Estonia, and made his senior club debut with TPI (Tallinn University of Technology) team in Estonian SSR Championship (today Korvpalli Meistriliiga). This happened in autumn 1985 when he was only 14 years and 4 months old. After some seasons, he signed with Kalev and he has played in USSR Championships; Korać Cup in 1990–91 and FIBA European Champions Cup in 1991–92. University of Tartu Sports Hall ( et, Tartu Ülikooli Spordihoone) is a multi-purpose indoor arena complex in Tartu. It was opened in 1982 and is owned by the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club. It's located on the left bank of the Emajõgi Emajõgi (; meaning ''"Mother River"'') is a river in Estonia which flows from Lake Võrtsjärv through Tartu County into Lake Peipsi, crossing the city of Tartu for 10 km. Saku Suurhall Arena
Unibet Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Haabersti subdistrict of the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Opened in November 2001, it is the largest multi-purpose hall in the country with around 7,000 seats but can hold up to 10,000 people. It generally hosts basketball games, as well as sport competitions, trade fairs, corporate events and concerts. Valga KK
BC Valga-Valka, also known as BC Valga-Valka/Maks & Moorits for sponsorship reasons, is a basketball club representing the twin towns of Valga, Estonia and Valka, Latvia. The team plays in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. Their home arena is the Valga Sports Hall. From 2015 to 2018 the team uniquely competed in both Estonian and Latvian domestic top leagues. History Valga Korvpallikool (Valga Basketball School) was founded in 2001. In 2006, the team won the third tier II Liiga and was promoted to the top tier Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML).
