2012–13 Indonesia Super League
The 2013 Indonesia Super League was the fifth season of the Indonesia Super League (ISL), a fully professional football competition as the top tier of the football league pyramid in Indonesia. The season began on 5 January 2013. Sriwijaya were the defending champions, having won their second league title. This season was also the first season of ISL organized with authorization from the Joint Committee of PSSI until the establishment of a new league. After the signing of the MoU between Djohar Arifin Husin (PSSI) and La Nyalla Matalitti (KPSI-PSSI) that was initiated by FIFA and the AFC through the Asian Football Confederation's Task Force, now Indonesia Super League was under the control of the Joint Committee to remain manageable by ''PT Liga Indonesia'' until the establishment of a new professional competition by the committee. Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Jayapura, or Persipura, is an Indonesian football club based in Jayapura, Papua. The club was founded in 1963 and currently competes in the Liga 2. Persipura used to always use the Mandala Stadium as their home and to compete in Liga 2 for the 2022-2023 season, Persipura use Lukas Enembe Stadium. La Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti (born 10 May 1959) is a former chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). Djohar Arifin Husin
Djohar Arifin Husin (born 13 September 1950) is a former chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) from 2011 to 2015, replacing former corruption-convict Nurdin Halid. He was also a General Secretary of National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI), under the leadership of Agum Gumelar and Regional Board of PSSI North Sumatra. He was an active professor in the Islamic University of North Sumatra and expert staff in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In his youth, he was also a footballer and football referee in the national level. He was chosen as chairman of PSSI in the extraordinary congress of PSSI on 9 July 2011 in Surakarta. The Indonesian football champions are the winners of the highest league of Indonesian men's football, which since 2017 is the Liga 1. Perserikatan, an amateur inter-cities competition, was first established under auspices of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) in 1930.
