The 2012–13 FC Red Bull Salzburg season was the 80th season in club history. Red Bull Salzburg finished the season in 2nd place, 5 points behind champions Austria Wien. In the Austrian Cup, Salzburg reached the semifinals were they were defeated by Pasching, whilst in the UEFA Champions League, Salzburg where knocked out on the Away goals rule by F91 Dudelange in the Second Qualifying Round. Review and events On 15 June 2012, Ricardo Moniz resigned as manager of Red Bull Salzburg. Piet Hamberg was the caretaker manager while the club searched for a new head coach. FC Red Bull Salzburg
FC Red Bull Salzburg is an Austrian professional football club based in Wals-Siezenheim, that competes in the Austrian Bundesliga, the top flight of Austrian Football. Their home ground is the Red Bull Arena. Due to sponsorship restrictions, the club is known as FC Salzburg and wears a modified crest when playing in UEFA competitions. Piet Hamberg (born 22 January 1954) is a former Dutch Association football, footballer and manager. He worked at Liverpool F.C., Liverpool as technical manager for their Liverpool F.C. Academy, academy. Playing career Hamberg began his youth career with FC Groningen, Groningen. Alexander Walke (born 6 June 1983) is a German former professional football goalkeeper. Club career Born in Oranienburg, Brandenburg, Walke began his career at Energie Cottbus as a 14-year-old. Thomas Dähne (born 4 January 1994) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Holstein Kiel. Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section. Douglas Edward Alexander "Eddie" Gustafsson McIntosh (born 31 January 1977) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
