2012 Kajotbet Hockey Games
The 2012 Kajotbet Hockey Games was played between 26–29 April 2012. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the matches were played in Kajot Arena in Brno, Czech Republic, and one match in Yubileyny Sports Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The tournament was part of 2011–12 Euro Hockey Tour. Finland won the tournament for the fifth time, winning all three games. It was also their first Czech/Kajotbet Hockey Games win since 2003. From this year's tournament, it's called ''Kajotbet Hockey Games'' due to sponsoring by Kajotbet. Konstantin Barulin
Konstantin Alexandrovich Barulin (russian: Константи́н Алекса́ндрович Бару́лин, born 4 September 1984) is a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender playing for Borås HC of the HockeyEttan in Sweden. He was born in Karaganda, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union (now Kazakhstan), but plays internationally for Russia. He was drafted 84th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft but remained in Russia and never signed a contract with the Blues. Jakub Kovář (born 19 July 1988) is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Extraliga. He was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 4th round (109th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He is the older brother of Jan Kovář. Petri Vehanen
Petri Vehanen (born October 9, 1977, Rauma, Finland) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender. During his career, he played for clubs in his native Finland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic and Germany. He won the World Championship with the Finnish national team in 2011. Overtime (ice Hockey)
Overtime is a method of determining a winner in an ice hockey game when the score is tied after regulation. The main methods of determining a winner in a tied game are the overtime period (commonly referred to as overtime), the shootout, or a combination of both. If league rules dictate a finite time in which overtime may be played, with no penalty shoot-out to follow, the game's winning team may or may not be necessarily determined. Jakub Štěpánek (born 20 June 1986) is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for Brûleurs de Loups of the French Synerglace Ligue Magnus. Playing career Štěpánek began his professional career with HC Vítkovice of the Czech Extraliga in 2006. Erik Sixten Viktor Fasth (born 8 August 1982) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender who last played for the Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Fasth had his international breakthrough during the 2010–11 season, after signing with Stockholm team AIK in the SHL. Jhonas Erik Enroth (born 25 June 1988), a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender, who is currently playing with Örebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Kari Lehtonen (born November 16, 1983) is a Finland, Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Atlanta Thrashers and Dallas Stars. He was selected second overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Thrashers, becoming the highest-drafted European goaltender, as well as being tied with Patrik Laine, Aleksander Barkov Jr., Alexander Barkov and Kaapo Kakko for the highest-drafted Finnish player in NHL history.
