Sh.Rajendra Arlekar, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is the 21st governor (30th if governors with additional charge also counted) of Himachal Pradesh since July 2021. Jagannath Pahadia
Jagannath Pahadia (15 January 1932 – 19 May 2021) was an Indian politician and a leader of the Indian National Congress party. He was the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Governor of Haryana, and Governor of Bihar. He died on 19 May 2021 from COVID-19. Early life and education He was born in Bhusawar city of the present-day Bharatpur district of Rajasthan state in a Dalit Khatik family on 15 January 1932 to Nathilal Pahadia and Chanda Devi. He held M.A., LL.B., M.S.J. College, Bharatpur, Maharaja College, Jaipur and Law College Rajasthan University. He was an Ambedkarite. Career He was Chief Minister of Rajasthan state from 6 June 1980 to 14 July 1981 and was the first Dalit from Rajasthan to hold this position. Pahadia served Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from 1998 till 2008 and 1980 to 1990. Kamala Beniwal
Kamla Beniwal (born 12 January 1927) is an Indian politician. She was a senior member of Indian National Congress party. She served as a minister on different posts and Deputy Chief Minister during different time in Rajasthan. Later she served as Governor of different Indian states between 2009 and 2014. She became the first woman minister in Rajasthan in 1954 at the age of 27. She served as Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan in 2003. She also served as governor of Tripura (2009), Gujarat (2009-2014) and Mizoram (2014). She has been the first ever woman Governor of any northeastern state. Bharat Vir Wanchoo
Bharat Vir Wanchoo (born 15 October 1951) is an Indian political figure who was the Governor of Goa from May 2012 to July 2014. Previously, he was Director of the Special Protection Group until 2011. Personal life Wanchoo was born on 15 October 1951. He studied at the Scindia School in Gwalior and is a post-graduate in History from the Delhi University. He is married to Nalini Wanchoo. Career Wanchoo belongs to the 1976 batch of the Indian Police Service from the West Bengal cadre. He was posted in the Intelligence Bureau when he was asked to join the Special Protection Group set up in 1985 after the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He has served in various positions in the Special Protection Group since then, and is considered to be close to the Gandhi family. Kateekal Sankaranarayanan
Kateekal Sankaranarayanan (15 October 1932 – 24 April 2022) was the governor of the Indian state of Maharashtra. He had also served as the Governor of Nagaland and Jharkhand. Prior to his appointment as governor, he had served as a minister in several Congress led governments of Kerala headed by Chief Ministers A K Antony and K. Karunakaran. On 24 August 2014, he was transferred by the NDA government to Mizoram. Sankaranarayanan was also asked to assume the additional charge of Arunachal Pradesh during the absence on leave of S K Singh. Shekhar Dutt
Shekhar Dutt was the governor of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Earlier he had served on various bureaucratic posts including, as an IAS officer, as Secretary in the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India.
