2012 FIBA Asia Champions Cup
The FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2012 was the 23rd staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Beirut, Lebanon in October 15–22, 2012. Qualification According to the FIBA Asia rules, each zone had one place, and the hosts was automatically qualified. 2011 FIBA Asia Champions Cup
The FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2011 was the 22nd staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Pasig, Philippines from May 28 to June 5, 2011. The event is co-organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and FIBA Asia. Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut, Al Riyadi from Lebanon, after going undefeated in the entire tournament, won its first ever Fiba Asia Champions Cup title after defeating Mahram Tehran from Iran in the final game. It was the fourth time a club from Lebanon has won the championship. Al Rayyan Basketball Team, Al-Rayyan from Qatar, on the other hand, finished third in the tournament after defeating Smart Gilas from the Philippines in the third-place game. Mahram Tehran Basketball Club is an Iranian professional basketball club based in Tehran, Iran. They compete in the Iranian Basketball Super League. Mahram is considered one of the giants of Iranian Basketball and were Champions of Asia in 2009 and 2010. Mahram has won the Iranian Basketball Super League championship a total of six times. Miguel Raymondo Martinez (born 30 January 1988) is a Spanish-Lebanese professional basketball player for Beirut Club of the Lebanese Basketball League (LBL). He was a member of the Lebanese national team. Professional career Martinez started his pro career with Blue Stars in 2005, before moving to Champville in 2009 for a two-year stint. Ali Mahmoud
Ali Mahmoud ( ar, علي محمود) is Lebanese-Canadian basketball player. Career Mahmoud was born on May 28, 1983, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, to Toufic and Gina Mahmoud, who had immigrated to Canada. He played with St. Patrick's High School Fighting Irish 1999 to 2002 and for one academic year, in 2002-2003, in University of Ottawa Gee-Gees. In 2003, Mahmoud was offered a professional contract by Champville SC, a Lebanese club in Division A. One year later, he moved to another Lebanese club Al Riyadi, where he stayed playing there until 2016. Afterwards, he joined Byblos Club for one year before returning to Al Riyadi. Jean Abdelnour
Jean Abdel-Nour ( ar, جان عبد النور, born 29 November 1983) is a Lebanese basketball player. He had a successful 2002–03 season with Ghazir which led him to be signed by the Bluestars for the 2003–04 season. He stayed with the Bluestars until the 2008–09 season where he was the leading Lebanese scorer on the team averaging 16 ppg and 7.4 rpg. After the season finished Bluestars dropped from the first division, and Abdelnour subsequently signed a 4-year contract with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Bilal Tabbara ( ar, بلال طبارة; born 1993) is a Lebanese basketball player for Lebanese Basketball League club Al Riyadi Club Beirut.
