European Tour
The European Tour (currently known as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons), legally the PGA European Tour is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour (for players aged fifty or older) and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men’s professional golf in Europe. The tour's headquarters are at the Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. The European Tour was established by the British-based Professional Golfers' Association through the 1970s, and responsibility was transferred to an independent PGA European Tour organisation in 1984. Björn Åkesson
Björn Oskar Ingemar Åkesson (born 4 January 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer that has played on the European Tour. He won the 2023 Nordic Golf League Order of Merit. Amateur career Åkesson had a successful youth career and played for the Swedish National Team. In 2006, he was runner-up at the Boys Amateur Championship and became the youngest ever winner of the Duncan Putter at Southerndown Golf Club in Wales, until the event was won by 15-year-old Tim Harry in 2013. In 2007, he won the Polo Golf Junior Classic at the Reunion Resort in the United States. He won the Junior Golf World Cup in Japan together with Jesper Kennegård, Daniel Jennevret and Pontus Widegren, finishing in 3rd place individually. The PGA Tour of Australasia, currently known for sponsorship reasons as the ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia, is a professional golf tour for men, owned and operated by the PGA of Australia. Official events on the tour count for World Golf Ranking points. The tour is recognised as being founded in 1973 when the PGA of Australia instituted an Order of Merit. Despite always including at least one tournament in New Zealand, the tour was known as the PGA Tour of Australia until it adopted its current name in 1991 following the inclusion of three events in Asia. Scott Arnold (born 13 September 1985) is an Australian professional golfer. Arnold was a top amateur golfer, winning several events in Australia. He was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for five weeks in early 2009. Arnold turned professional in 2009. Alexander Lévy
Alexander Lévy (; born 1 August 1990) is a French professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. Lévy won the French Amateur Championship in 2009, and the French International Amateur Championship the next year. Turning pro in 2011, his first wins of the European Tour came in 2014 at the Volvo China Open and the Portugal Masters. He won a title each year between 2016 and 2018 : the 2016 Porsche European Open, the 2017 Volvo China Open and the Trophee Hassan II in 2018. He rose to 47th in the world following this last victory. Joakim Kevin Lagergren (born 15 November 1991) is a Swedish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour having previously played on the Challenge Tour. Professional career Lagergren turned professional in 2010 and initially played his golf on the Nordic mini-tours picking up his first win at the 2010 Landskrona Masters on the Nordic Golf League. Erik Oscar Florén (born 3 May 1984) is a Swedish professional golfer. Career Florén was born in Mölndal near Gothenburg. He attended Texas Tech University in the United States where he was named an NCAA First Team All-American in 2006. Sam Little (born 31 August 1975) is an English professional golfer and sports agent. He won five times on the Challenge Tour. Early and personal life Little was born in London, England, and is Jewish and has been a member of Hendon Reform Synagogue. Morten Ørum Madsen (born 9 April 1988) is a Danish professional golfer. He played on the European Tour from 2013 to 2016, winning the South African Open Championship in late 2013.
