2012 Copa Libertadores Finals
The 2012 Copa Libertadores de América Finals were the final two-legged tie that decided the winner of the 2012 Copa Libertadores de América, the 53rd edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. It was the fourth Libertadores decisive-match Final to be held at the Pacaembu as well as the tenth Final to be held in São Paulo and the seventeenth Final to be held in Brazil. While Corinthians progressed to the knockout stages by finishing top of their group, Boca progressed to the knockout stages by finishing runners-up of their group. The 2012 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2012 Copa Santander Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. It ran from January 24 to July 4, 2012. Santos were the defending champions, but lost to Corinthians in the semifinals. São Paulo-based club Corinthians won the competition, with an undefeated campaign, after defeating six-time champion Boca Juniors in the finals. It is Corinthians' first Libertadores title. By winning the competition, Corinthians won the right to play in the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup and the 2013 Recopa Sudamericana. 2012 FIFA Club World Cup Final
The 2012 FIFA Club World Cup Final was the final match of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup, an association football tournament hosted by Japan. It was the ninth final of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations as well as the host nation's league champions. The final was contested between CONMEBOL winners Corinthians and UEFA winners Chelsea, and took place at the International Stadium Yokohama in Yokohama on 16 December 2012. Corinthians defeated Chelsea 1–0 after a header from Paolo Guerrero, which meant Corinthians won their second FIFA Club World Cup, then known as FIFA Club World Championship, twelve years after winning their first in 2000. The 2012 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2012 presented by Toyota for sponsorship reasons) was a football tournament that was played from 6 to 16 December 2012. It was the ninth edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations as well as the host nation's league champions. The tournament was hosted by Japan. Defending champions Barcelona did not qualify as they were eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League by eventual champions Chelsea. Agustín Ignacio Orión (; born 26 June 1981) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was capped three times for Argentina. Club career Orion was San Lorenzo's first choice goalkeeper in 2007, when he helped the club to win the Clausura tournament. Romário Ricardo da Silva (born 12 December 1990), commonly known as Romarinho, is a Brazilian football player, currently playing as a striker for Ittihad. On 27 June 2012, Romarinho scored the equaliser for Corinthians in the first leg of the 2012 Copa Libertadores Final against Boca Juniors of Argentina. Facundo Sebastián Roncaglia (; ; born 10 February 1987) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for Boca Juniors. Mainly a central defender, he can also play as a right-back.
