Campeonato Acreano (sometimes referred as Campeonato Acriano) is the football league of the State of Acre, Brazil. It is organized by the Acre State Football Federation. Format 2020 First Division First stage *The 10 clubs are divided into two groups, in which teams from one group play against all teams of the other group. *Last two teams are eliminated from the competition with the last one relegated to the second division, while the two best of each group qualify to the semifinal. *In the semifinal, the best-placed team of each group face the second-best-placed of their own group in a single match. Rio Branco (, ''White River'') is a Brazilian municipality, capital of the state of Acre. Located in the valley of the Acre River in northern Brazil, it is the most populous municipality in the state, with 413,418 inhabitants, according to the 2018 census, almost half the state population. Rio Branco was one of the first settlements to develop in the region, being the westernmost major settlement in the country and the 4th-oldest state capital city in Northern Brazil, after Belém, Manaus and Macapá. Plácido De Castro, Acre
Plácido de Castro () is a municipality located in the east of the Brazilian state of Acre on the border with Bolivia. Location The municipal seat is on the left bank of the Abunã River, which defines the boundary between Brazil and Bolivia. It is from Rio Branco by road, or as the crow flies, accessible to weekend tourists from the city via the AC-40 highway. It has an area of , and is the 19th largest in area in Acre. The municipality is bounded to the north and northwest by the municipality of Senador Guiomard, to the east by the municipality of Acrelândia, to the south by Bolivia and to the west by the municipality of Capixaba. The municipality contains the Plácido de Castro Ecological Park, a municipal conservation area that contains 113 genera of trees. An area that held large trees such as Brazil nut, rubber, cocoa and mahogany was destroyed by fire in 2005.
