Qingdao
Qingdao (, also spelled Tsingtao; , Mandarin: ) is a major city in eastern Shandong Province. The city's name in Chinese characters literally means " azure island". Chai Biao
Chai Biao (; born 10 October 1990) is a Chinese professional badminton player. Chai has concentrated on men's doubles for the majority of his senior career in badminton. His most successful partnership was with Hong Wei: together they reached the year end tournament BWF Superseries Finals in 2014 and 2015. As Hong has since retired, Chai's current partner in men's doubles is Wang Zekang. Career Chai was born in Yanfeng District of Hengyang City in 1990. At the age of 7, he learned badminton from the senior coach of the Badminton Institute in the City Sports School. Due to progressing quickly, he was transported to Hunan Badminton Team for professional training for four years later. He has won the National Junior Championship. In 2007, he was enter the national badminton team, and at that year in the early of July, he competed at the Asian Junior Championships and won the boys' doubles title. Xu Chen
Xu Chen (; born 29 November 1984) is a badminton player from China. In 2010, he (along with his partner Guo Zhendong) was ranked within the top 10 men's badminton doubles in the world. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the mixed doubles with Ma Jin, winning the silver medal. In the final they lost to Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei, also from China. He married a former Chinese national badminton team player, Pan Pan on 3 June 2014. Zhang Nan (badminton)
Zhang Nan (; born 1 March 1990) is a Chinese badminton player who specializes in both men's and mixed doubles. He found much success in mixed doubles with his former partner Zhao Yunlei. They won gold in Badminton at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Summer Olympics, 3 golds in BWF World Championships in 2011 BWF World Championships, 2011, 2014 BWF World Championships, 2014 and 2015 BWF World Championships, 2015 and a gold at the Badminton at the 2014 Asian Games, 2014 Asian Games. Mami Naito
is a Japanese badminton player from the Yonex team, who competed at the 2014 Asian Games. She educated physical education at the Nippon Sport Science University, Tokyo. Her older brother, Yusuke Naito is a badminton coach. Naito and her women's doubles partner Shizuka Matsuo have reached the career high as world number 3 in the BWF World ranking. Shizuka Matsuo
is a Japanese badminton player. Born in Osaka, Matsuo once affiliated with Sanyo Electric and Panasonic badminton team, and after that joining the NTT East team in 2013. She is currently works as a doubles coach in NTT East. Matsuo was a part of the Japanese women's team bronze medalist at the 2014 Asian Games. Pan Pan (; born 27 April 1986) is a retired Chinese professional badminton player. With her partner Tian Qing, they managed to reach the fifth position in the world rankings. She retired in 2012 to be an assistant coach in Chinese Badminton Association. She married Xu Chen in mid-2011. Zhong Qianxin (; born 8 May 1990) is a Chinese badminton player. Career Zhong Qianxin won the girls' doubles event at the 2007 BWF World Junior Championships at Waitakere City, New Zealand with Xie Jing (badminton), Xie Jing. They also won the 2008 Asian Junior Badminton Championships. She won her first Grand Prix event at the Vietnam Open (badminton), 2010 Vietnam Open with Ma Jin. Bao Yixin
Bao Yixin (; born 29 September 1992) is a Chinese badminton doubles player. She won titles in the women's doubles category with many different partners. She won two World Junior titles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the girls' doubles event, she was crowned World Junior Champion with Ou Dongni and in the mixed doubles she was crowned with Liu Cheng. She also won the mixed doubles at the 2009 Asian Junior Championships with Lu Kai and the mixed doubles at the 2010 Asian Junior Championships with Liu Cheng. Partnering with Tang Yuanting, Bao became the women's doubles champion at the 2015 All England Open. Bao graduated with a bachelor's degree from Xiangtan University. Zhao Yunlei
Zhao Yunlei (born 25 August 1986) is a mixed and women's doubles badminton player from China. She graduated with a BA from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is the first and only badminton player to have ever won two gold medals in the same Olympic edition, winning in both the mixed and women's doubles categories in 2012. Zhao joins the ranks with nine other players with two Olympic gold medals, the highest number of gold medals won by any badminton player. Through her performance at the 2014 and 2015 BWF World Championships, she became the first player to win two consecutive gold medals in two consecutive BWF World Championships. As of the 2015 BWF World Championships, she has become the most successful player in the World Championship medal count, with a total of ten medals, overtaking Gao Ling, who has a total of nine. Tian Qing
Tian Qing (; born 19 August 1986) is a Chinese badminton player specializing in doubles. Career Tian Qing started to practice badminton with her father Tian Jianyi who also a badminton coach in Anhua Sports School at aged 7. In 1998, she moved to Hunan Province Sports School and in 2004, she competed at the World Junior Championships and win gold in the girls' doubles event teamed-up with Yu Yang. In 2006, she joined the national team. In her early career at the national team, she was partnered with Pan Pan, and they participated in the 2009 World Championships, and 2010 Uber Cup. In 2010, she competed at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games in the mixed team and women's doubles event partnered with Zhao Yunlei, where she won two gold medals respectively.
