2011–12 A-1 League
The 2011–12 A-1 League ( hr, A-1 liga 2011./12.) was the 21st season of the A-1 League, the highest professional basketball league in Croatia. The first half of the season consisted of 11 teams and 110-game regular season (20 games for each of the 11 teams) began on Friday, October 8, 2011 and ended on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. The second half of the season consisted of 3 teams from ABA League and the best 5 teams from first half of the season. Playoffs started on May 15, 2012 and ended on June 5. Cibona won its 17th title. HT Premijer Liga
The Hrvatski Telekom Premijer liga ( en, Hrvatski Telekom Premier League, ), also known as HT Premijer liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level men's professional basketball league in Croatia. It began in 1991, following the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and therefore the Yugoslav League, and is organized by the Croatian Basketball Federation. The HT Premijer liga, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of 12 teams. The most successful club is KK Cibona with 19 championship titles. History Prior to 1991, clubs from Croatia played in the Yugoslav First Federal League. Slavonski Brod
Slavonski Brod (), commonly shortened to simply Brod, is a city in eastern Croatia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Arena Gripe
Gripe Sports Center ( hr, Športski centar Gripe) is a sports complex located in the Gripe city district of Split, Croatia. It features four indoor halls, and is used to host many sports, as well as concerts. The seating capacity of the small indoor hall is 3,500, and of the biggest one is 6,000.
