The 2011 San Jose State Spartans football team represented San Jose State University in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Spartans were led by second year head coach Mike MacIntyre and played their home games at Spartan Stadium. They are members of the Western Athletic Conference. George Michael MacIntyre (born March 14, 1965) is an American football coach. He is the head coach at FIU Panthers football, FIU. MacIntyre served as the head football coach at San Jose State University from 2010 to 2013 and the University of Colorado Boulder from 2013 to 2018. MacIntyre began his coaching career in 1990 as a graduate assistant at Georgia Bulldogs football, Georgia.
