2011 Masters Of Formula 3
The 2011 Masters of Formula 3 was the twenty-first Masters of Formula 3 race, and was held at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands on 14 August 2011. The race was won by Felix Rosenqvist, for Mücke Motorsport, who took advantage of a start-line collision between Spanish Prema Powerteam teammates Daniel Juncadella and Roberto Merhi. Marco Wittmann finished second, whilst Kevin Magnussen became the first regular from the British series to appear on the podium since Adam Carroll in 2004 by finishing third. Despite his disqualification for causing the accident with Daniel Juncadella, Roberto Merhi sealed the inaugural FIA Formula 3 International Trophy at this race on the virtue of his closest rival, Marco Wittmann, failing to win the race. Zandvoort () is a municipality in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. It is one of the major beach resorts of the Netherlands; it has a long sandy beach. Dallara
Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. After working for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, in 1972 in his native village of Varano de' Melegari (Parma), Italy he created "Dallara Automobili". Nigel Melker (born 25 January 1991) is a Dutch racing driver. Career Karting Melker was born in Rotterdam. He began his motorsport career in karting in 2001, winning in the Dutch Mini Junior Cup. 2011 British Formula 3 Season
The 2011 Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series (an international motor racing series), was the 61st British Formula 3 International Series season. The season began on 16 April at Monza in Italy and ended on 9 October at Silverstone after 30 races held at ten meetings. Of those meetings, six were held in the United Kingdom, with overseas rounds at Monza, the Nürburgring in Germany, Paul Ricard in France, and Spa in Belgium. Carlos Huertas (born 22 June 1991) is a Colombian racing driver. Racing career Born in Bogotá, Huertas began his career in Formula BMW UK in 2007 with Räikkönen Robertson Racing where he finished 13th. He finished fifth in the World Final race. In 2008 he returned to Räikkönen Robertson but moved to the FBMW Europe series. He finished ninth in the championship. Daniel Johannes Abt (born 3 December 1992) is a German former racing driver. He has competed in such series as the German Formula Three Championship, the GP3 Series, the GP2 Series, and won the 2009 ADAC Formel Masters championship.
