2011 Formula 3 Sudamericana Season
The 2011 Formula 3 Sudamericana season was the 25th Formula 3 Sudamericana season. It began on 21 March 2011, in Velopark, and ended on 17 December at Autódromo Internacional Orlando Moura in Campo Grande. In year most complicated of the category, Fabiano Machado dominated the Championship, winning 17 of the 25 races in a season where only he and one other driver, Ronaldo Freitas, competed in every race. Bruno Bonifacio dominated the Sudamericana Class B, winning 12 races. Drivers and teams * All cars are powered by Berta engines, and will run on Pirelli tyres. All teams were Brazilian-registered. Formula 3 Sudamericana
Formula 3 Sudamericana was a South American Formula Three championship. It was inaugurated in 1987 and primarily held races in Brazil and Argentina, with a small number of events held in other countries across the continent. Its most notable graduates include former Formula One drivers Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta and Christian Fittipaldi, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Hélio Castroneves, and Champ Car champion and former F1 driver Cristiano da Matta. The series was replaced for 2014 by the Brazilian Formula Three Championship, which focuses on Brazilian circuits and drivers. Brasília

Santa Cruz do Sul () is a city in central Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The city has an estimate 131,000 inhabitants as of 2020 and sits about 150 km (93 miles) from the capital city of the state, Porto Alegre. Caruaru is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Pernambuco. The Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet (Nelson Piquet International RaceTrack), also known as Jacarepaguá after the neighbourhood in which it was located, and also as the Autódromo Riocentro, was a motorsport circuit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Opened in January 1978, a few weeks before 1978 Brazilian Grand Prix, it hosted the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix on ten occasions, and was also used for CART, motorcycle racing and stock car racing.
