2011 FINA Diving World Series
The 2011 FINA Diving World Series is the 2011 edition of FINA Diving World Series. It is the 2011 World Series competition of the world class divers who were champions, runners-up or finalists from the previous World Series, World Championship, World Cup and Olympics. Although that is the case, some of the participants are wild-card entries who represented certain countries which had previously qualified athletes for the said World Series. This World Series was hosted by four countries, namely first leg in Moscow, Russia, second leg in Beijing, China, third leg in Sheffield, Great Britain, and fourth leg in Guanajuato, Mexico Mexico (Spanish: México), officially the United Mexican States, is a country in the southern portion of North America. FINA Diving World Series
The FINA Diving World Series is a diving competition series held annually since 2007. This series is held around the world (the current series includes 4 events) where the divers collect points depending on their results to determine the World Series champions. This series is reserved for only the best divers in the World and national wild cards. Most of the divers are medallists from previous Olympics, World Championships and World Cups. List of FINA Diving World Series Overall ranking Overall ranking is based on the combined results from the legs of the series. Divers earned points based on placement at each competition. For individual events, points were counted separately for each person. For synchronized events, points were combined for each country – some countries had different pairs compete at the different legs of the series. Chen Ruolin
Chen Ruolin (; born 12 December 1992) is a Chinese diver. Her most recent competition saw her win the synchronized 10 metre platform diving event with her partner Liu Huixia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Career Chen was born in Nantong, Jiangsu. She won the gold medals in the women's 10m platform and 10m synchronized platform at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing for Team China, then duplicated the double gold performance at the London 2012 Summer Olympics. Jennifer Abel
Jennifer Abel (born August 23, 1991) is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion in the 1 m and 3 m synchronized springboard; and is also a three-time Pan American Games champion in the 3 m springboard and 3 m synchronized springboard. Tania Cagnotto (; born 15 May 1985) is an Italian diver. She is the first female Italian diver to win a medal in a World Championship. A five-time Olympian, she won medals in both individual and synchronized springboard diving in her final appearance at the Olympics in 2016. She is also a 20-time champion at the European level. José Antonio Guerra Oliva (born August 9, 1979 in Santiago de Cuba) is a male diver from Cuba. He represented his native country at four consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 2000 (Sydney, Australia). Guerra won a gold and three silver medals at Pan American Games during his career. He also won 2 gold medals at Central American Games becoming the only Cuban male diver in history achieving this. Illya Kvasha
Illya Olehovych Kvasha ( uk, Ілля Олегович Кваша; born 5 March 1988) is a Ukrainian diver. Competing with Oleksiy Prygorov, he won the bronze medal in the 3 m spring synchro at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Kvasha is also a multiple European champion both individual and synchronised. Career He also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, in both the individual and the synchro with Prygorov. At the 2016 Olympics, he reached the final of the individual 3 m springboard. He specializes in 1m and 3m springboard. Stephan Feck
Stephan Feck (born 17 February 1990 in Leipzig, East Germany) is a German diver who competes in the Men's 1 and 3 metre springboard. He won the silver medal at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships in Budapest and at the 2011 European Diving Championships in Turin. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's 3m Springboard but a calamity occurred after he slipped off the board and landed hard on the water on his back, scoring him zero from the judges.
