2011 European Team Championships Super League – Results
The 2011 European Team Championships Super League was the ''Super League'' of the 3rd edition of the European Athletics Team Championships, European Team Championships (European Athletics Team Championships from 2013 edition), the 2011 European Team Championships, which took place on 18 and 19 June 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden. As with the previous championships there were a couple of rules applying specifically to this competition, such as the limit of three attempts in the throwing events, long jump and triple jump (only the top four were allowed the fourth attempt) and the limit of four misses total in the high jump and pole vault. Maksim Dyldin
Maksim Sergeyevich Dyldin (russian: Максим Серге́евич Дылдин) (born 19 May 1987) is a Russian sprint athlete. He was part of the team that finished third in Men's 4 × 400 m relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics, but the team was disqualified after teammate Denis Alekseyev tested positive for doping. Dyldin himself was disqualified for four years for refusing to be tested. His ban extends from 22 May 2015 to 5 January 2021. Arnaldo Luís Isaías Abrantes (born 7 November 1986) is a Portuguese track and field sprinter, specialising in the distances of 100 metres and 200 metres. He also competes in the 4×100 metres relay. His father, Arnaldo Abrantes, was also a sprinter. Abrantes currently acts as Head of Performance at Premier League football side Nottingham Forest. Career Born in Cova da Piedade, Abrantes began running at the Núcleo Desportivo Juvenil do Laranjeiro in 2002 where he remained until 2003. Johan Lukas Wissman (born 2 November 1982) is a Swedish athlete from Helsingborg, specializing in the 200 and 400 m. He is the current national record holder in both of these events. Wissman won the gold medal at the European Indoor Championships in Athletics 2009 in Torino, Italy. This was Johan's first and long awaited international gold medal at the time 45.89. Daniel Talbot (athlete)
Danny Talbot (born 1 May 1991) is a retired British sprinter who competed in the 100 metres and the 200 metres. Career Talbot won the 200m bronze medal at the 2012 European Athletics Championships in Helsinki. For Team GB in the 4 × 100 m at the London 2012 Olympics, he ran the third leg in the heats but failed to exchange the baton with anchor Adam Gemili. He ran again for Britain in the 4 x 100 at the 2014 World Relay Championships, forming part of a quartet which ran 37.93 in the heats and went on to win bronze. At the IAAF World Championships held in London in 2017, Talbot qualified for the 200 metres semifinal with a personal best of 20.16 in his heat on 7 August. Five days later he ran the third leg for the 4 x 100 metres relay team which won the gold medal in a time of 37.47, a British and European record. Matteo Galvan (born 24 August 1988) is an Italian sprinter who specializes in the 200 and 400 metres. His career highlight so far is the 2009 European Indoor Championships, where he placed sixth in the 400 metres and won a gold medal in the relay. Pavel Maslák (, born 21 February 1991) is a Czech sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres and 400 metres. He is the only athlete in history who has managed to win the 400 m title at the World Indoor Championships at three consecutive championships.
