2011 AFL Mark Of The Year
The Australian Football League celebrates the best mark of the season through the annual Mark of the Year competition. In 2011, this was officially known as the Hungry Jack's AFL Mark of the Year. Each round three marks were nominated and fans voted online for their favourite her Andrew Krakouer won the fan vote for 2011 Mark of the Year. The AFL itself later recognised that this was not the best mark taken in 2011, when in 2019 it awarded Mark of the Decade to Andrew Walker's Round 18 mark. Andrew Krakouer
Andrew James Krakouer (born 4 February 1983) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club and Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Krakouer is the son of Jim Krakouer and nephew of Phil Krakouer. He began playing colts football for South Fremantle in the WAFL. He is the cousin of former Gold Coast and Port Adelaide player Nathan Krakouer. AFL career Richmond He was drafted with the 41st selection in the 2000 AFL draft by Richmond, who had received the draft pick by trading Ben Harrison to the Western Bulldogs. Drew Petrie (born 15 October 1982) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He came out of retirement in 2017 to play for the West Coast Eagles in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL). Kurt Anthony Tippett (born 8 May 1987) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans. He also played for the Adelaide Football Club between 2007 and 2012. Jarred Moore (born 6 March 1986) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League (AFL) who is currently serving as an assistant coach with the North Melbourne Football Club. Moore grew up in Langwarrin and played for the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup, from where he was recruited as the number 31 draft pick in the 2004 National Draft by the Sydney Swans. Brett Ebert (born 18 November 1983) is a former Australian rules footballer. He is the son of Port Adelaide legend Russell Ebert and cousin of Port Adelaide's Brad Ebert.
