2010–11 Austrian Cup
The 2010–11 Austrian Cup (german: ÖFB-Cup) was the 77th season of Austria's nationwide football cup competition. It commenced with the matches of the preliminary round in July 2010 and concluded with the Final on 29 May 2011. The winners of the competition qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League. Preliminary round The Preliminary Round involved 68 amateur clubs from all regional federations, divided into smaller groups according to the Austrian federal states. The draw for this round was conducted in Vienna on 7 July 2010. After the draw, SV Bad Aussee had to withdraw from the competition after going into administration, earning their opponents USV Allerheiligen a walkover. SV Ried
SV Ried is an Football in Austria, Austrian association football club from Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. The team plays its home matches at Josko Arena, a stadium with a capacity of 7,680. TSV Hartberg, known as TSV Egger Glass Hartberg for sponsorship purposes, is an Austrian association football club based in Hartberg, founded in 1946, which is currently playing in the Austrian Bundesliga. History The club was founded on 29 April 1946. They finished in 7th position in the 2007–2008 season while playing in the Third level Regionalliga. On the last day of the 2008–09 season, TSV Hartberg finished in first position of the Austrian Regionalliga East (third division). SV Horn is an Austrian association football club playing in the city of Horn. The club plays in the Austrian Second League. The team was champion of the Landesliga Niederösterreich in 1991, 1998 and 2007. In 2008, SV Horn won the Austrian Cup by beating SV Feldkirchen in the final. FC Liefering GmbH is an Austrian association football club, originally from Liefering, a section of Salzburg. It currently plays in the Second League, the second tier of Austrian football. Since 2012, Liefering has been a reserve team for Austrian Football Bundesliga side FC Red Bull Salzburg. In December 2011 Red Bull Salzburg signed a cooperation with FC Pasching ( Regionalliga Mitte) and USK Anif (Regionalliga West). First Vienna FC
First Vienna FC is an Austrian association football club based in the Döbling district of Vienna. Established on 22 August 1894, it is the country's oldest team and has played a notable role in the history of the game there. It is familiarly known to Austrians by the English name ''Vienna''. __TOC__ History In the early 1890s English and Austrian gardeners working for Nathaniel Anselm von Rothschild began to play football on his estates. To avoid further damage to his flowers Nathaniel ceded them a pasture nearby and also granted the team's blue-yellow kits, former jockey costumes of his riding stable.
