2010 Speedway Grand Prix Of Poland
The 2010 FIM Toruń Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the fifth race of the 2010 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on 19 June at the MotoArena Toruń in Toruń, Poland. The Polish Grand Prix, first hosted in Toruń, was won by Pole Tomasz Gollob, who beat Poles Rune Holta and Jarosław Hampel and Jason Crump of Australia. It was first time in SGP history, when podium was won by riders from the same country. Riders The Speedway Grand Prix Commission nominated Adrian Miedziński as Wild Card, and Artur Mroczka and Maciej Janowski both as Track Reserves. Injured Emil Sayfutdinov will be replaced by first Qualified Substitutes Piotr Protasiewicz again. Fredrik Lindgren (speedway Rider)
Jan Fredrik Tobias (Freddie) Lindgren (born 15 September 1985) is a Swedish motorcycle speedway rider. He has twice won the bronze medal at the Speedway World Championship and won the world team championships in 2015. Career Born in Örebro, Sweden. Lindgren's father Tommy was a speedway rider before him, and his younger brother Ludvig also rides. Lindgren first appeared for Wolverhampton Wolves during the 2003 season as the team struggled with injuries. At the age of just 17, Freddie made his debut for the team and impressed enough to be brought back the following season when again injuries hit the club. In 2005, he moved over to full-time and averaged 7.44 for Wolves in his debut full season and in 2006 he improved to average 8.12. Zdeněk 'Sam' Simota (born 4 May 1985 in Prachatice, Czech Republic) is a Czech speedway rider. He rides in the Czech ExtraLeague with AK Plzeň, Polish Second Division League with Orzeł Łódź and the Danish Team Brovst. Career Simota began riding at the age of nine. The highlights of his career so far were becoming the Czech Under-21 Champion in 2004 and reaching the semi-final of the European Championships. Nicolai Klindt (born 29 December 1988 in Outrup, Denmark) is a Danish speedway rider who won the 2007 Individual Under-19 European title. Career In 2006, Klindt won the Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship and followed up the success by winning the 2007 European U19 title. In 2008, he signed for his first British league team Wolverhampton Wolves for the 2008 Elite League speedway season and also won his second Danish U21 title. He spent two more seasons at Wolves, improving his average to 6.91, making his debut for Denmark in the 2009 Speedway World Cup and winning a silver medal at the 2010 Speedway World Cup. Antonio Lindbäck (born 5 May 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider who competed in the Speedway World Championship, finishing eighth in 2016, and was a member of the Swedish team who won the Speedway World Cup in 2004 and 2015.
