2010 India Grand Prix
The 2010 India Grand Prix was a badminton tournament that was held at Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India from 14 to 19 December 2010 and had a total purse of $50,000. This tournament was moved from Lucknow to Hyderabad, allegedly due to the infighting in the Badminton Association of India. Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium
Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium is an indoor sporting arena located in Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana. It was inaugurated by N. Chandrababu Naidu, then chief minister in 2003 and the capacity of the arena is 2,000 people. It hosted some events for the Afro-Asian Games in 2003. This stadium is maintained by the Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS), the state government department that looks after sports affairs. Ajay Jayaram (born 28 September 1987) is an Indian retired badminton player from Chennai. He plays for the Mumbai Rockets in the Premier Badminton League. Jayaram is a champion of the Czech International and Dutch Open tournament. Ajay Jayaram did his schooling from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School. Aditi Mutatkar (born 6 October 1987) is an Indian badminton player from Pune, Maharashtra. She won the Silver Medal in Mixed team event in 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, 2010. She reached her highest rank of 27th in the world when she registered her career-best performance of reaching the finals of the Bitburger Open. In the domestic circuit, she has won the Badminton Nationals in all age categories, only the third woman in this country to do so. Aditi's career has been riddled with injuries. Fransisca Ratnasari Hari Saputra (born 2 October 1986) is an Indonesian retired badminton player. Personal life Fransisca Ratnasari Hari Saputra was born as the youngest daughter of four children of Petrus Haryanto and M. Kasiyem family. She went to Caritas Nandan Catholic Elementary School until she graduated in 1997. She then continue her education in SMPN 5 (Number 5 National Junior High School) of Yogyakarta but only lasted for 2 months because she decided to focus on her badminton career. She is now still registered as a student in STIE (School of Economics) PERBANAS Jakarta. Jeanine Cicognini (born 14 November 1986) is a Swiss badminton player who now represents Italy. Cicognini won her first Swiss senior title at age 16 and has since won the award seven more times. Maria Febe Kusumastuti (born 30 September 1989) is an Indonesian badminton player from Boyolali, Central Java. Career In 2008, she won women's singles at the Bitburger Open. Saina Nehwal
Saina Nehwal (; born 17 March 1990) is an Indian professional badminton player. A former world no. 1, she has won 24 international titles, which includes ten Superseries titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat.
