Robert Seifert
Robert Seifert (born January 31, 1988, in Dresden) is a German short-track speed-skater. Seifert competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics for Germany. In the 500 metres, he placed third in his round one heat, failing to advance. As a member of the German 5000 metre relay team, he finished 3rd in the semifinal and 2nd in the B Final, ending up 5th overall. In the 500 metres, he finished 18th overall. As of 2013, Seifert's best performance at the World Championships came in 2011, when he won a silver medal as a member of the German 5000m relay team. His best individual performance at a World Championships was in 2012, when he came 4th in the 500 metres. He also won a silver medal as a member of the German relay team at the 2010 European Championships. Evgenia Radanova ( bg, Евгения Раданова; born 4 November 1977) is a Bulgarian female short track speed skater and racing cyclist who has participated in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She was the world record holder in the 500 m short track distance with 43.671s, which she set in Calgary, Canada on 19 October 2001. In the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic games she won a silver medal at the same distance and a bronze at 1500m. In Athens 2004 Summer games she took part in cycling, but did not get a medal. Elise Christie
Elise Christie (born 13 August 1990) is a British former short track speed skater. She was coached by Nicky Gooch and she specialised in the 1000m event. She is ten times a European gold medallist, including two overall European titles in 2015 and 2016. In the 2017 World Championships in Rotterdam she won world titles in the 1000m and 1500m events, as well as the overall gold, the first British woman and first European woman to do so. Early life Christie was born in Livingston, Scotland in 1990. She went to school at St Margaret's Academy in Livingston. Christie later studied in Loughborough College on the Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) sports programme. She was originally a figure skater but took up speed skating when she was about twelve years old. Kateřina Novotná (born 12 August 1984) is a Czech short-track speed-skater and long track speed skater. Long track speed skating As a long track speed skater she was, who was active between 1995 and 2016. As a junior she became national champion in 1997 (allround) and in 2005 (500 metres). Arianna Fontana OMRI (born 14 April 1990) is an Italian short track speed skater, who has won eleven Olympic medals among these two gold medals in the 500m short track, one at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and the second one at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Her medal haul following the 2022 Games made her the short track skater with the most Olympic medals.
