2010 Dublin Senior Football Championship
The 2010 Dublin Senior Football Championship is the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA. The first round draw was announced on 10 March 2010. First round The winners of the first round progressed to the second round, the losers went on to a backdoor round with a chance to progress to the second round. *Raheny received a bye to the next round. Backdoor Round This round is the first knockout round between the losers of the first round of the 2010 Dublin Championship, the losers will enter the relegation round and the winners go on to qualify for the third round against the losers of the second round ties. Thomas Davis, Ballymun Kickham's, Fingallian's, Round Towers (C), Trinity Gaels and Fingal Ravens progressed to the third round of the competition. The Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Contae Átha Cliath) or Dublin GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in the Dublin Region and the Dublin county teams. Fingal Ravens GAA
Fingal Ravens is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Rolestown, County Dublin, Ireland. Fingal Ravens won the 2007 Dublin Intermediate Football Championship and are therefore in the Senior championship for 2008. The Senior team won the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship in 2007 and booked a place in the Leinster Intermediate Semi Final against Suncroft. The Senior team won the Lenister Intermediate Semi Final on Sunday 25 November 2007 against Suncroft of Kildare. They eventually went on to the final against neighbours and local rivals Donaghmore/Ashbourne. It proved an interesting game because the Fingal Ravens manager Mick Deegan was a resident of Ashbourne in County Meath. Ravens won the IFC title with a goal to spare in Parnell Park on Sunday 9 December 2007. Ross O'Carroll
Ross O'Carroll (born 1 January 1987) is a hurling and football player for Kilmacud Crokes and formerly of Dublin. Hurling O'Carroll made his championship debut for Dublin against Wexford in the 2007 Leinster championship and scored a total of 1–01 in a game which Dublin lost by a point. O'Carroll helped guide Dublin to victory in the 2005 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship by scoring one point in the game. Rory O'Carroll
Rory O'Carroll (born 30 November 1989) is a footballer and hurler with Dublin and Kilmacud Crokes. He lined out as the full back on the Dublin senior football team. He is the brother of inter-county footballer and hurler Ross O'Carroll, inter-county hurler Bill O’Carroll and Oisin O'Carroll. Rory O'Carroll made his debut for Dublin against Kerry in March 2009. Playing career O'Carroll holds two All-Ireland medals. In 2009, he won an All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship winners medal with Kilmacud Crokes and in 2010, he won the All-Ireland Under 21 Football Championship with Dublin. St Brigid's GAA Club (Irish: Cumann Naomh Bríd) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Castleknock, Fingal, Ireland which serves Castleknock, Clonsilla, Blanchardstown and Corduff. Its main grounds are at Russell Park, and it also has grounds in Castleknock at Beech Park and College Fort. O'Toole Park ( ga, Páirc Uí Thuathail), also known as Lorcan O'Toole Park ( ga, Páirc Lorcáin Uí Thuathail), is a Gaelic games venue in Crumlin, Dublin. Lucan Sarsfields
Lucan Sarsfields (Irish: ''Sáirséalaigh Leamhcáin'' ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Lucan, Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 1886, making it one of the oldest GAA clubs in Dublin. Sarsfields were one of 16 teams which contested the Dublin Senior Championship in 1887. They were also involved in the Senior Championship of 1892, and the club has fielded Gaelic football, hurling and camogie teams ever since. Early success Lucan won the Intermediate Football League in the 1904–05 season. It is reported that they did this with the help of five players from Balbriggan. The story goes that in 1902 a team call Balbriggan Wanderers won the Intermediate League and then for some reason or other went out of existence in 1904. St Peregrine's GAA, also known as Cumann Naomh Peregrine C.L.G., is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Clonsilla, Fingal, Ireland. UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912.
