One of twenty-five teams competing in the IFL for the 2010 season, the Abilene, Texas-based Abilene Ruff Riders were members of the Lonestar West Division of the Intense Conference. Gerald Dockery
Gerald Dockery (born August 17, 1970) is a former American football wide receiver who played four seasons in the Arena Football League with the Texas Terror, Grand Rapids Rampage and Houston ThunderBears. He attended Worthing High School in Houston, Texas. He first enrolled at Arizona Western College before transferring to Eastern New Mexico University. Dockery was also a member of the Calgary Stampeders. Dockery was inducted into Evan E. Worthings 2022 Wall of Fame class as a QB '85-'89. He served as head coach of the Katy Ruff Riders from 2007 to 2010 and was head coach of the Houston Stallions from 2011 to 2012. He was the offensive coordinator of the Corpus Christi Fury in 2016. In 2018, he joined the Georgia Doom as the team's offensive coordinator and assistant head coach. Robert Gill (born February 27, 1984) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. Gill did not play college football. College career Gill played basketball at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi before transferring to Texas State, where he competed in track & field, running the 200-meter dash in 21.14 seconds and the 400-meter dash in 46.52 seconds. Professional career Gill signed with the Green Bay Blizzard but was cut before the 2008 af2 season started. He signed with the Louisville Fire but never played for them and was traded to the Texas Copperheads. After two games with the Copperheads, Gill was released and signed by the Lubbock Renegades. Robert Kent (born October 6, 1980) is an American football quarterback for the North Texas Bulls of the National Arena League (NAL). He played college football at Jackson State. The Ector County Coliseum is a 5,131 seat multi-purpose arena in Odessa, Texas. Tenants It is home to the Odessa Jackalopes (North American Hockey League), the West Texas Warbirds (Champions Indoor Football), the Sand Hills Rodeo, and the biennial Permian Basin International Oil Show. Each January the arena hosts a major rodeo, and the animals are kept in a large hall at one end of the arena. The Luedecke Arena is a 6,400-seat multi-purpose arena on the grounds of the Travis County, Texas, Travis County Exposition Center in Austin, Texas.
