2010 1000 Km Of Hungaroring
The 2010 1000 km of Hungaroring was the fourth round of the 2010 Le Mans Series season. It took place at the Hungaroring, Hungary on 22 August 2010. It was the first time a Le Mans Series event took place at the Hungarian track. The race was also the first time an LMP2 class car has taken first, both in qualifying and the race. The No. 42 Strakka Racing HPD ARX-01C achieved such feat, with LMP2 cars running comparatively in lap times in the practice sessions, qualifying, and the race, sweeping the top six positions in the race overall, while most of the LMP1 cars suffered from reliability issues and/or driver errors throughout the day-to-night race; the best finisher was the No. 5 Beechdean Mansell Ginetta-Zytek. Hungaroring
The Hungaroring is a motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Pest County, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held. In 1986, it became the location of the first Formula One Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Bernie Ecclestone wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend recommended Budapest. They wanted a street circuit similar to the Circuit de Monaco to be built in the Népliget – Budapest's largest park – but the government decided to build a new circuit just outside the city near a major highway. Construction works started on 1 October 1985. It was built in eight months, less time than any other Formula One circuit. The first race was held on 24 March 1986, in memory of János Drapál, the first Hungarian who won motorcycle Grand Prix races. Pierre Ragues
Pierre Ragues (born 10 January 1984 in Caen) is a French racing driver, who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Career Karting Debuting in karting in 1994, Ragues was second in the Monaco Kart Cup in Formula A in 2001, and third in the French Elite Championship. Since starting to race cars, Ragues has continued to compete in karts. Single-seaters Ragues started racing cars in 2003 when he took part in Formula Renault Campus in France, finishing runner-up to dominant champion Laurent Groppi and scoring one race win. He also took part in the 2003 Spa 24 Hours in a Paul Belmondo Racing-run Chrysler Viper GTS-R. Thor–Christian Ebbesvik (born 17 December 1983 in Bergen) is a professional racing driver from Norway. Career Formula Ford Ebbesvik began his racing career in 2005, driving for Team JLR in the British Formula Ford Championship. He finished the year in sixth place and also took part in the end–of–season Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, where he failed to finish. He continued in the series in 2006, improving to fourth place in the championship. He took four podium finishes during the season, including a win at Thruxton. Greaves Motorsport is a British racing team, currently competing in the European Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2006, Greaves Motorsport, founded and run by Tim Greaves, entered the Le Mans Series (LMS) for the first time, running a Radical SR9 in conjunction with Radical, and competing under the '' Bruichladdich Radical'' banner. Federico Leo (born August 27, 1988, in Varese) is an Italian racing driver. Career Formula Junior Leo began his single–seater career in late 2005 in the Italian Formula Junior 1600 Winter series, scoring nine points to finish 13th in the standings. Matthieu Lahaye (born 23 November 1984, in Rennes) is a French racing driver, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for OAK Racing. Career Lahaye's career began in karting, in which he competed between 1995 and 2001. He then took part in Formula France and French Formula Renault. In 2004 he contested World Series Lights, finishing fifth in the standings with a win at Valenca. Guillaume Moreau
Guillaume Moreau (born 8 March 1983 in Limoges, France) is a French racing driver who is currently competing in the Le Mans Series. In 2008, Moreau shared the GT1 class championship with teammate Patrice Goueslard in the Le Mans Series driving a Luc Alphand Corvette. After beginning his career in single-seaters, Moreau switched to sports car racing. He has competed in five consecutive editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, from until , with a best result of seventh overall and second in class in the event.
