Pierre Ragues
Pierre Ragues (born 10 January 1984 in Caen) is a French racing driver, who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Career Karting Debuting in karting in 1994, Ragues was second in the Monaco Kart Cup in Formula A in 2001, and third in the French Elite Championship. Since starting to race cars, Ragues has continued to compete in karts. Single-seaters Ragues started racing cars in 2003 when he took part in Formula Renault Campus in France, finishing runner-up to dominant champion Laurent Groppi and scoring one race win. He also took part in the 2003 Spa 24 Hours in a Paul Belmondo Racing-run Chrysler Viper GTS-R. For the following years he raced in French Formula Renault, finishing 12th and 15th overall in the two seasons. 2012 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 80th 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: ''80e 24 Heures du Mans'') was an 24-hour automobile endurance race for Le Mans Prototype and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance cars held from 16 to 17 June 2012 at the Circuit de la Sarthe close to Le Mans, France before 240,000 spectators. It was the 80th running of the event, as organised by the automotive group, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) since 1923. The race was the third round of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship, with 30 of the race's 56 entries contesting the championship. A test day was held two weeks prior to the race on 3 June. A Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by André Lotterer, Marcel Fässler and Benoît Tréluyer started from pole position after Lotterer set the fastest overall lap time in the third qualifying session. The 2003 Proximus 24 Spa was the 56th running of the Spa 24 Hours and the sixth round the 2003 FIA GT Championship. Laurent Groppi
Laurent Groppi (born 19 January 1983 in Haute-Savoie, Thonon-les-Bains) is a French racing driver. He won the Formula Campus by Renault and Elf in 2003 and the Championnat de France Formula Renault 2.0 in 2006. He also competed in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. In 2007 he finished second in the French GT Championship and finished 5th in the GT1 Class of the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans driving a Team ORECA Saleen S7R. He returned to Oreca for the 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans, but this time finished 8th in LMP1 class in their Judd powered Courage-Oreca LC70. Signatech, formerly known as Signature, is a French auto racing team and racing car constructor that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The team won the FIA European Formula Three Cup in 1999 with Benoît Tréluyer. It won the French Formula Three Championship in 2000 with Jonathan Cochet as driver, who also won the European Cup and Masters of Formula 3 that year, and won the Korea Super Prix for the team in 2001. Paul Belmondo
Paul Alexandre Belmondo (born 23 April 1963) is a French racing driver who raced in Formula One for the March and Pacific Racing teams. He was born in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, the son of actor Jean-Paul Belmondo and grandson of sculptor Paul Belmondo. Around 1981, Paul gained publicity for becoming the lover of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Through 1987, he participated in Formula 3 and Formula 3000, although he was never a top 10 championship finisher in either. In 1992, he joined the March F1 team as a pay driver, getting a ninth place at the Hungarian Grand Prix, but only qualifying 4 more times before he ran out of money and was replaced by Emanuele Naspetti. 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup Season
The 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup season was the fourteenth Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season began at Monza on 27 March and finished at Oschersleben on 18 September, after seventeen races. American driver Scott Speed scored eight victories at Hockenheimring, Brno, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Imola and Oschersleben during the season. He took the championship with a round to spare at the wheel of his Motopark Academy-run car, giving team based at Oschersleben their first Eurocup championship after double win on fellow circuit. Second place was not resolved until the final round, as Graff Racing's Simon Pagenaud and Jenzer Motorsport's Colin Fleming battled over the placing.
