2009–10 Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Season
The 2009–10 CAA men's basketball season marks the 25th season of Colonial Athletic Association basketball. The conference is doing numerous "Silver Anniversary" programs and highlights throughout the season. Preseason On September 23, 2009 the Colonial Athletic Association announced that all 12 CAA teams had been named to ESPN's ''BracketBusters'', which is set for February 19–20, 2010. Home games will be played by Delaware, George Mason, Georgia State, Hofstra, Northeastern and Virginia Commonwealth (VCU). The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a nonprofit organization that regulates student athletics among about 1,100 schools in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Old Dominion Monarchs Basketball
The Old Dominion Monarchs men’s basketball team represents Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, United States in NCAA Division I men's competition. The school's team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. They were the Division II national champions in 1975, champions of the inaugural CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament in 2009, and champions of the inaugural Vegas 16 in 2016. Cameron Scott "Cam" Long (born December 30, 1988) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Maccabi Rishon LeZion of the Israeli Premier League. A combo guard, he played college basketball for the George Mason University before playing professionally in Lithuania, France, Germany, Romania and Israel. Charles T. Jenkins ( sr-cyrl, Чарлс Т. Џенкинс; born February 28, 1989) is an American-born naturalized Serbian professional basketball player for FMP Meridian of the ABA League. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the 2011 NBA draft after finishing his four-year college career with the Hofstra Pride.
