2009 Serbia Open
The 2009 Serbia Open (also known as ''Serbia Open powered by Telekom Srbija'' for sponsorship reasons) was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the first edition of the event known that year as the Serbia Open, and was a part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2009 ATP World Tour. It took place at the Milan Gale Muškatirović complex in Belgrade, Serbia, from May 2 through May 10, 2009. The singles draw was headlined by the tournament's host, Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) No. 3, 2008 Tennis Masters Cup, Dubai winner and recent Miami, Monte Carlo and Rome runner-up Novak Djokovic from Serbia. ATP World Tour 250 Series
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1000, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. 2009 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters
The 2009 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters was a men's tennis tournament for professional players held from 11 April until 19 April 2009, on outdoor clay courts. It was the 103rd edition of the annual Monte Carlo Masters tournament, which was sponsored by Rolex for the first time and was classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament on the 2009 ATP World Tour. It took place at the Monte Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, near Monte Carlo, Monaco. Except for Andy Roddick, all the top ranked male tennis players participated. Arnaud Clément (; born 17 December 1977) is a French former professional tennis player and Davis Cup captain. Clément reached the final of the 2001 Australian Open and achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 10 in April of that year. Ivan Ljubičić
Ivan Ljubičić (; born 19 March 1979) is a Croatian former professional tennis player. He reached a career-high Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world No. 3 singles ranking on 1 May 2006. Viktor Troicki ( sr-Cyrl, Виктор Троицки, ; born 10 February 1986) is a Serbian former professional tennis player. He won his first ATP singles title at the 2010 Kremlin Cup, and his second and third ATP singles titles at the 2015 and 2016 Apia International Sydney. His biggest achievements were a career-high singles ranking of world No. 12 (achieved in June 2011) and winning the deciding rubber in Serbia's Davis Cup final against France in 2010. Since then, in every Davis Cup he attended, he contributed to Serbia reaching a quarterfinal or better.
