2009 FIA GT Algarve 2 Hours
The 2009 FIA GT Algarve 2 Hours was the sixth round of the 2009 FIA GT Championship season. It took place at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portugal on 20 September 2009. Selleslagh Racing Team won their first race of the season while their driver James Ruffier's won his first race in FIA GT. Pekaracing earned second place while the No. 2 Vitaphone Racing car completed the podium with a pass on the second to last lap of the race. The No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari won in GT2 followed by the No. 60 Prospeed Competition Porsche and No. 77 BMS Scuderia Italia Ferrari. Alessandro Pier Guidi
Alessandro Pier Guidi (born December 18, 1983) is a racing driver from Italy. He drove two races for the Italian A1 Team. A Ferrari factory driver since 2017, he won LMGTE-PRO 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship and 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans, and 2021 24 Hours of Spa. Pier Guidi drove a Ferrari 430 GT in the Spanish GT Championship and Italian GT Championship in 2005 and 2006, for the Scuderia Playteam. He won the 2005 Italian title, but missed out on the Spanish crown due to missing one race alongside team owner Giambasttista Giannocaro. Diego Romanini
Diego Romanini (born 30 December 1978 in Pietrasanta) is an Italian auto racing driver. He has competed in the World Touring Car Championship and was the Austria Formula 3 Cup champion in 2001 and 2003. Career After starting his career in karting, he first started circuit racing in 1998 with Italian Formula Renault, before racing in the Italian Formula Campus Series. In 2000 he competed in Austrian Formula Three, becoming champion in 2001. He spent one year in the British Formula 3 Championship, then returned to the Austrian series in 2003, where he regained his title. Tim Sugden (born 26 April 1964, in Bradford) is a British racing driver. He is both driver and manager for his own racing team, Tim Sugden Motorsport. Early career Sugden started racing in karting, where he became British champion. He soon moved up to Formula Ford 1600, winning the Star of Mallory series in 1987. Despite working on a small budget, he gained top place finishes at senior level FF1600 driving the works Swift "Tredaire" car for Frank Bradley. Emmanuel Collard (born 3 April 1971) is a French professional racing driver. He is a former member of the Porsche Junioren factory team, but also drives for other marques. Robert Bell (racing Driver)
Robert "Rob" Bell (born 30 April 1979 in Newcastle upon Tyne) is a British professional racing driver. He has competed in such series as the FIA GT Championship, the British GT Championship and Formula Renault V6 Eurocup, and is best known as the winner of the 2016 Blancpain Endurance Series with Shane van Gisbergen and Côme Ledogar. He has also won the Winter Series of Formula Renault UK in both 2001 and 2002. Bell was the Le Mans Series GT2 class champion for Virgo Motorsport in the 2007 and 2008 seasons, and vice-champion for JMW in 2009 and 2011. CRS Racing
CRS Racing is a British auto racing team founded by British driver Andrew Kirkaldy and Canadian-Greek driver and entrepreneur Chris Niarchos. The team was founded in 2007, but is based on the former team of Kirkaldy known as Team AKA which competed in the British Formula Renault Championship starting in 2004. Álvaro Barba López (born 17 February 1984 in Seville) is a Spanish racing driver and brother to fellow racer Marco Barba. Career Formula Junior and Spanish Formula Three Barba began his single seater career in 2002 driving in the Spanish Formula Junior 1600 series, where he finished runner up to fellow countryman Adrián Vallés. Marco Holzer (born 30 July 1988) is a German professional racing driver. He has competed in sports car competitions such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, American Le Mans Series and Le Mans Series as a Porsche works driver.
