The 2008–09 OK Liga Femenina was the first edition of Spain's premier women's rink hockey championship. It was played without Catalan teams due to the high cost of the travels during the competition. CP Voltregà
Club Patí Voltregà is a Catalan rink hockey club from Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà, Osona established in 1955, currently competing in the OK Liga and the OK Liga Femenina. History The club enjoyed its golden age between 1960 and 1977; through these years Voltregà won three European Cups, three OK Liga and five national cups. Its best years were 1975 and 1976, when they were both Spanish and European champions. The team's only major trophy in subsequent years was the 2002 CERS Cup. The Copa de S.M. la Reina de Hockey Patines is an annual cup competition for Spanish women's rink hockey teams organized by the Spanish Skating Federation. First held in 2006, it is currently contested in spring by the top four team's in the OK Liga's table. OK Liga Femenina is a Spanish rink hockey league for women. It has been held since 2008 and is the women's version of the men's OK Liga. History The OK Liga Femenina was created in 2008. In its first edition, it was played without Catalan teams due to the high costs of the travels during the competition.
