OK Liga Femenina
OK Liga Femenina is a Spanish rink hockey league for women. It has been held since 2008 and is the women's version of the men's OK Liga. History The OK Liga Femenina was created in 2008. In its first edition, it was played without Catalan teams due to the high costs of the travels during the competition. Competition format The championship is played through 26 matchdays in al round-robin format, a format quite common in other sports such as football. The top team when finished to play the 26 matchdays is the champion. Rink Hockey
Roller hockey (in British English), rink hockey (in American English) or quad hockey is a team sport played on roller skates. It is the only quad skate team sport in existence where two teams face-off against one another at the same time. Two teams try to drive a hard ball with their sticks into the opposing teams' goalnet. Each team has five players on the rink at a time, four of whom are skaters and one who is the goalkeeper. The ball can only be put in motion by a stick, not the skate, otherwise a foul will be stated. The game has two 25-minute halves, with 15-minute halftime intermission, plus up to two 5-minute golden goal (a.k.a. "sudden death") periods to settle ties with the clock stopping when the ball becomes dead. If the tie persists, a penalty shootout will determine the winner. Santander, Spain
Santander () is the capital of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria situated on the north coast of Spain. It is a port city located east of Gijón and west of Bilbao with a population of 172,000 (2017). Centre d'Esports Arenys de Munt is a Catalan sports club from Arenys de Munt, Maresme founded in 1929, hosting football, futsal, rink hockey and rugby teams. Alcoy ( ca-valencia, Alcoi) is an industrial and university city, region and municipality located in the Valencian Community, Spain. The Serpis river crosses the municipal boundary of Alcoy.
