2008 Slovenian Supercup
The 2008 Slovenian Supercup was a football match that saw the 2007–08 PrvaLiga champions Domžale face off against the Slovenian Cup winners Interblock. The match was held on 9 July 2008 at the Sports Park in Domžale. After 120 minutes of no goals, Interblock won their first Slovenian Supercup title by defeating Domžale 7–6 on penalties. Slovenian Supercup
The Slovenian Supercup ( sl, Superpokal Slovenije) was a football match played between the Slovenian PrvaLiga champions and the Slovenian Cup winners. Prior 2007, the match was held only twice, in 1995 and 1996. The competition was resurrected in 2007 and was held annually for nine seasons, before it was abolished after the 2015 edition. Dario Zahora (born 21 March 1982 in Vukovar) is a Croatian football striker, who is currently a free agent. Zahora started his career from Croatian team Dinamo Zagreb. From there he was loaned out to Croatia Sesvete, Koper, Slaven Belupo, Domžale and Interblock. He continued his career to Rosenborg before joining Bnei Sakhnin. Ermin Rakovič (born 7 September 1977) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played as a forward. Career Rakovič scored one goal in 15 caps for Slovenia. Džengis Čavušević
Džengis Čavušević (born 26 November 1987) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played as a striker. Club career Čavušević moved to St. Gallen after playing three seasons for Wil 1900 in the Swiss Challenge League. In July 2016 he signed a two-year contract with FC Zürich. In December 2017 the contract was terminated by mutual consent. On 6 February 2018, Čavušević joined Australian club Adelaide United until the end of the season. Not long into his time at Adelaide, he suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He was released at the end of the season and subsequently retired from professional football.
