2008 International Challenge Cup
The 2008 International Challenge Cup (also called the AEGON Challenge Cup after its title sponsor) was held between March 6 and 9, 2008 in The Hague. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dancing Ice dance (sometimes referred to as ice dancing) is a discipline of figure skating that historically draws from ballroom dancing. Paolo Bacchini
Paolo Bacchini (born 16 August 1985) is an Italian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2007 and 2012 Merano Cup champion, 2008 Triglav Trophy champion, and a twelve-time Italian national medalist (2002–2013). Bacchini represented Italy at the 2010 Winter Olympics where he placed 20th in the men's event. In 2011, Bacchini joined Fiamme Oro, the sports category of the Italian police. Viktoria Helgesson (born 13 September 1988) is a retired Swedish figure skater. She is the 2011 Skate America bronze medalist, a five-time (2008–11, 2013) Nordic champion, and an eight-time (2007–12, 2014–15) Swedish national champion. Alper Uçar (born 19 January 1985) is a Turkish former competitive ice dancer.
