The Arizona Rattlers season was the 17th season for the franchise. The Rattlers finished the regular season 8–8, and made the playoffs as the 3rd seed in the American Conference. They were eliminated from the playoffs in the wild-card round, losing to the Grand Rapids Rampage, 41–48. Kevin Guy
Kevin Guy (born December 6, 1972) is an arena football coach and former wide receiver and defensive back who is the head coach for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played his college football at the University of West Alabama, and was an AFL wide receiver and defensive back from 1996 to 1999. He has been a football coach since 2000, and first served as a head coach in 2000 as the interim head coach for the New Jersey Red Dogs. After being the defensive coordinator for the San Jose SaberCats from 2006 to 2007, he became the Rattlers head coach in 2008. In 2018, his wife Cathy became co-owner of a new Tucson-based IFL franchise, called the Tucson Sugar Skulls, set to play in 2019. The Georgia Force season was the seventh season for the franchise. Starting the season 3–5, the Force finished the regular season with 7 wins in their last 8 games, ending with a 10–6 record, and winning their second consecutive Southern Division title, allowing them to enter the playoffs as the 2nd seed in the National Conference. They were eliminated from the playoffs in their first playoff game of the season by the Cleveland Gladiators, by a score of 73–70. The Utah Blaze was a professional arena football team based in Salt Lake City, Utah and competed in the West Division (AFL), West Division of the Arena Football League. Home games were played at the EnergySolutions Arena. In 2013, the team did not submit proper documentation to remain in the AFL and the entire roster was reassigned to other teams in the league. Kani Kauahi
Daniel Kani Kauahi (born September 6, 1959) is the assistant head coach for the Arizona Rattlers in the Indoor Football League (AFL). He joined the Rattlers in 2007 as the defensive line coach. Playing career Kauahi grew up on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i, and played college football with the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Hawaii Warriors. He then played center for 12 seasons in Pro Football, with the Seattle Seahawks, the Green Bay Packers, the Phoenix Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Amway Arena (originally known as Orlando Arena and later TD Waterhouse Centre) was an indoor arena located in Orlando, Florida. It was part of the Orlando Centroplex, a sports and entertainment complex located in Downtown Orlando. The arena was the former home of the Orlando Magic of the NBA and the Orlando Titans of the NLL. 2008 Grand Rapids Rampage Season
The 2008 Grand Rapids Rampage season was the 11th season for the franchise. The Rampage finished the regular season 6–10, earning them a spot in the playoffs as the 6th seed in the American Conference. In their Wild Card playoff game, the Rampage upset the Arizona Rattlers, 48–41. In the Divisional round, the Rampage won in a bigger upset against the top seeded Chicago Rush, 58–41. The Rampage's playoff run was cut short however, after losing the American Conference Championship to defending champion San Jose SaberCats, 55–81. With the ballclub's folding in 2010, this was the franchise's final season.
