The 2007 Team Long Track World Championship was the first annual FIM Team Long Track World Championship. The final took place on 1 September 2007 in Morizès, France. The championship was won by Germany who beat Great Britain in a final heat. Host team France finished third. Team Long Track World Championship
The FIM Team Long Track World Championship, known officially as the ''Longtrack of Nations'', is an annual track racing event since 2007 organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM). The championship has been won by Germany eight times. The 2020 Championships in Morizès, France and the 2021 Championships in Roden, Netherlands were both cancelled, due to the issues regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Mitchel Godden
Mitchel Stuart Godden 2021/2022/2023 Triple British Grasstarck 500cc Sidecar Champion. Team Godden / Smith Mitchel is an English Motorcycle rider who competes in Long track motorcycle racing, Longtrack and Grasstrack Racing for Solos (1992>) and more recently 500cc Sidecars (2015>) He is the son of Don Godden who won the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship in 1969. Mitchel Godden followed in his fathers footsteps and started racing in 1992. He started on a 250cc (ex Jeremy Doncaster) Honda red Rocket and rode this for one season before using Don Godden, Godden works 350cc machine and then after a couple of seasons progressed to 500cc class. Mitch later progressed to international racing becoming a specialists on German Grasstracks and Dutch Sandtracks. He often travelled to many of his European meetings with other riders, notably Trevor Banks the late Vincent Kinchin and “Super” Dave Mears among others. Theo Pijper (born 11 February 1980) is a Dutch motorcycle speedway rider. Career Born in Dokkum, Netherlands, Pijper first rode a motorbike at the age of five. He was a successful long track rider before starting his speedway career. He made his debut in British speedway in 2002 with Edinburgh Monarchs, staying with the team until 2007 in a spell that included a Premier League title in 2003. In 2004 he won the European Grasstrack Championship at Eenrum. In 2007 he moved up to the Elite League with Wolverhampton Wolves, but after losing his place in the team returned to the Monarchs for a short spell, later moving to Berwick Bandits. He lost his team place once again, but later that season won the European Grasstrack Championship for a second time. Pavel Ondrašík (born 10 December 1975 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a former motorcycle speedway rider. Career He first rode in the United Kingdom for the Trelawny Tigers in the Premier League. He stayed with the Tigers until their closure in 2003. He then spent seasons with Newport Wasps and the Exeter Falcons. His season with the Somerset Rebels was cut short in 2006 after he suffered a broken wrist. In 2000, he won the silver medal at the Czech Republic Individual Speedway Championship.
