The 2007 Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final was a Hurling match played on 8 July 2007 at Semple Stadium, Thurles, County Tipperary. It was contested by Limerick and Waterford. Waterford claimed their third Munster Championship of the decade, beating Limerick on a scoreline of 3-17 to 1-14, a 9-point winning margin. All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2007
The 2007 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 121st staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The championship began on 22 May 2007 and ended on 2 September 2007. Kilkenny were the defending champions, and successfully retained their All-Ireland crown following a 2–19 to 1–15 defeat of Limerick. This put them on level terms with Cork on 30 titles. Tony Browne
Tony Browne (born 1 July 1973) is an Irish hurler who played as a right wing-back for the Waterford senior team from 1991 until his retirement from inter-county hurling in 2014. Browne made his first appearance for the team during the 1991–92 National League and immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. During his inter-county career, he won four Munster winners' medals and one National League winners' medal. He ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. At club level Browne is a one-time Munster medalist with Mount Sion. In addition to this he has won seven county club championship medals. Browne has a number of personal achievements, including being the most "capped" Waterford hurler of all-time. Bryan Phelan
Bryan Phelan (born 1979) is an Irish sportsman. He plays hurling with his local club De La Salle and with the Waterford senior inter-county team. Career Club Phelan has played from a young age with his local club, De La Salle. While not having much success at first, 2008 turned out to be a fruitful year. Phelan played a vital role in De La Salle's first ever Waterford Senior Hurling Championship beating Abbeyside in the final. Phelan followed this up with victory in the Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship later that year. In the 2008/2009 All-Ireland Club semi-final, De La Salle were struggling against Ruairà Óg GAC being a point down deep in injury time. James Murray (hurler)
James Murray (born 1979) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Tallow and with the Waterford senior inter-county team. Career Club Murray has played with his local club, Tallow from a young age. His greatest achievement with the club was in winning the Waterford Minor Hurling Championship in 1997. As well as playing with Tallow, Murray has represented St. Colmans of Fermoy, winning the Dr. Harty Cup and at collegic level, with UCC in the Fitzgibbon Cup winning two titles, and has also won a North American Championship with the Harry Bolands Chicago in 1999. Brian Todd O'Leary (January 27, 1940 – July 28, 2011) was an American scientist, author, and NASA astronaut candidate. He was part of NASA Astronaut Group 6, a group of scientist-astronauts chosen with the intention of training for the Apollo Applications Program. Personal O'Leary was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts on January 27, 1940. He decided to become an astronaut after visiting Washington, D.C. as a teenager. Stephen Molumphy
Stephen Molumphy (born 11 January 1984) is an Irish former hurler with Waterford senior hurling team and currently manager of the Kerry senior hurling team. He played for Waterford Senior Championship club Ballyduff Upper and was a member of the Waterford senior hurling team for nine seasons, during which time he usually lined out in midfield or as a left wing-forward. Playing career St. Colman's College Molumphy first came to prominence as a hurler with St. Colman's College in Fermoy.
