2007 Armenian Cup
The 2007 Armenian Cup was the 16th edition of the Armenian Cup, a football competition. In 2007, the tournament had 14 participants, out of which 4 were reserve teams. Results First round Pyunik and Mika received byes to the quarter finals, as they were champions and cup holders respectively. The first legs were played on 21 and 22 March 2007. The second legs were played on 31 March and 1 April 2007. Quarter-finals The first legs were played on 5 and 6 April 2007. The second legs were played on 10 April 2007. Semi-finals The first legs were played on 18 April 2007. The second legs were played on 1 May 2007. Football Club Urartu ( hy, Ուրարտու Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ, translated ''Futbolayin Akumb Urartu''), commonly known as Urartu, is an Armenian professional football team based in the capital Yerevan that currently plays in the Armenian Premier League. Marcos Pinheiro Pizzelli (; hy, Մարկոս Պինեյրո Պիզզելլի; born 3 October 1984), commonly known as Marcos, is a former professional footballer. Born in Brazil, Marcos represented Armenia internationally between 2008 and 2019. Club career Ararat Yerevan Pizzelli started his career at the Brazilian club São Carlos as a youth from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, the young talent was spotted by an agent from Ararat Yerevan, who soon recruited Pizzelli. His debut took place on 30 April in a game against Ulisses. Kilikia Football Club ( hy, Կիլիկիա Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ – Kilikia Futbolayin Akumb), is a defunct Armenian football club from the capital Yerevan. History Beginning Kilikia F.C. was founded in 1992 and participated in the first ever independent Armenian championship. In 1992, they occupied the 12th spot in the table, and were allowed to play in the 1993 Armenian Premier League.
