2006–07 TFF First League
The 2006–07 TFF League A (also known as ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' due to sponsoring reasons) was the second-level football league of Turkey and the 44th season since its establishment in 1963–64. At the end of the season in which 18 teams competed in a single group, Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ and İstanbul B.B., which finished the league in the first two places, and the play-off winner Kasımpaşa were promoted to the upper league, while Türk Telekom, Akçaabat Sebatspor and Uşakspor, which were in the last three places, were relegated. Orduspor
Orduspor was a Turkish football club founded in 1967. The club was located in Ordu, Turkey and played their home games at 19 Eylül Stadium. The team managed to qualify for the Turkish Super League again in 2011. But, the last spell in top level finished in 2013. History In the second half of the 1967s, Ordu was a city where ladies in the stands enjoyed watching football matches with the most enthusiastic cheers and applause although football was not yet known in many cities of Anatolia. By that time there were two football teams in the fields of Ordu, named Karadeniz İdman Yurdu and Gençleryurdu. The players would get into the Ordu Mixed squad. Ankara
Ankara ( , ; ), historically known as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey. Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium
The Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium ( tr, Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadyumu) was the home venue of Ankara's Gençlerbirliği. It was built in 1930 and is part of the 19 Mayıs Sports Complex, which is located in the Ulus district. The stadium had a capacity of 19,209 (all-seater). Ankaraspor also used the stadium until they moved to their new venue in the Yenikent district. The stadium was named after the date May 19, 1919, when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk arrived at Samsun to start the Turkish War of Independence. Official ceremonies to celebrate the May 19th Youth and Sports Day were also held at the stadium. In August 2018, demolition of the stadium began in order to make way for a new stadium to be built on the site. 2007–08 Süper Lig
The 2007–08 Süper Lig season, (also known as the Turkcell Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons), was the 50th anniversary of top-flight professional football in Turkey. It was won by Galatasaray, who won their 17th championship. Since Turkey had climbed from 15th to 14th position in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2006–07 season, and UEFA Champions League-bound Zenit Saint Petersburg won the 2007–08 UEFA Cup, the domestic cup winner, Kayserispor, which had qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2008–09 UEFA Cup, was promoted to the first round, filling the unused title holder spot. Karşıyaka () is a district of İzmir Province in Turkey. The district extends for twelve kilometres along the northern and eastern coastline of the tip of the Gulf of İzmir. Eskişehirspor Kulübü is a Turkish professional football club located in Eskişehir. Eskisehirspor has a total of six trophies, making them the sixth most trophies holders in Turkey.
