2006 Bulgarian Supercup
The 2006 Bulgarian Supercup was the fourth Bulgarian Supercup match, a football match which was contested between the "A" professional football group champion, Levski Sofia, and the winner of Bulgarian Cup, CSKA Sofia. The match was held on 30 July 2006 at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria. CSKA beat Levski 3–0 (after penalties) to win their second Bulgarian Supercup. PFC Levski Sofia
Levski Sofia ( bg, Левски София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. The club was founded on 24 May 1914 by a group of high school students, and is named after Vasil Levski, a Bulgarian revolutionary renowned as the national hero of the country. Daniel Borimirov Borisov ( bg, Даниел Боримиров Борисов; born 15 January 1970) is a Bulgarian former professional Association football, footballer who played mainly as an attacking midfielder. Borimirov's professional playing career spanned nearly 20 years, during which he played for three clubs: OFC Bdin Vidin, Bdin Vidin, PFC Levski Sofia, Levski Sofia and TSV 1860 Munich. Emil Angelov
Emil Angelov ( bg, Емил Ангелов; born on 17 July 1980 in Haskovo) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a forward. Career His career began at Svilengrad, having played for Haskovo as a youth. In 2001 Angelov joined Chernomorets Burgas. In his two and a half-year stint with the team, he played 55 games scoring 18 goals in the Bulgarian A PFG. Levski Sofia Angelov joined Levski Sofia on 24 January 2004 on a four-year contract for a transfer fee of €140,000. Cédric Bardon
Cédric Bardon (born 15 October 1976) is a former French footballer who last played for Étoile Fréjus Saint-Raphaël. He was one of the best players for the Bulgarian Levski Sofia at the time when he played for them. Career In France He began his career at the local Olympique Lyonnais in 1992–93. Hristo Georgiev Yovov ( bg, Христо Георгиев Йовов) (born 4 November 1977) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He spent all of his club career in his native Bulgaria with the exception of his three shorter stays abroad with German club 1860 Munich and Cypriot sides Aris Limassol and Apollon Limassol. Dimitar Telkiyski ( bg, Димитър Телкийски; born 5 May 1977) is a Bulgarian football manager and a former player. Richard Eromoigbe
Richard Eromoigbe (born 26 June 1984) is a Nigerian former football midfielder. Career In January 2002 Eromoigbe signed a contract with Bulgarian club Levski Sofia and joined Cherno More Varna in a year-long loan move, alongside his compatriot Emanuel Baba. He made his league debut in a 2–1 defeat at Spartak Pleven on 28 April. For the most part of his time at Cherno More, Eromoigbe was a substitute, making only eight A PFG appearances. Lúcio Wagner Freitas de Souza (born 15 June 1976), known simply as Lúcio Wagner, is a retired Brazilian-born Bulgarian international footballer who played as a left-back. Georgi Petkov ( bg, Георги Петков; born 14 March 1976) is a Bulgarian football goalkeeper who plays for and captains Slavia Sofia.
