2006 3. Divisjon
The 2006 season of the ''3. divisjon'', the fourth-highest association football league for men in Norway. Between 20 and 22 games (depending on group size) were played in 24 groups, with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Twelve teams were promoted to the 2. divisjon through playoff. There was a redesigning of the 3. divisjon to better fit geographical boundaries next season. Fewer teams than usual were relegated; purposely none from the Oslo district and none from Agder. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. Årvoll Idrettslag is a Norway, Norwegian sports club from Årvoll, Bjerke (borough), Bjerke, Oslo. It has sections for association football, team handball, volleyball, orienteering and Nordic skiing. Bygdø Monolitten Idrettslag is a Norway, Norwegian sports club from Bygdøy and Skøyen, Frogner, Oslo. It has sections for association football, team handball, floorball and badminton. History The club was founded on 29 May 1914 under the name ''Djerv''. The name was changed to ''Skøien BK'' in 1915 and to ''Skøien IF'' as the club started to participate in non-ball games. However the name was changed to ''Bygdø BK'', "Bygdø Ball Club", in 1927. The club added Nordic skiing in 1923, track and field in 1929 and bandy in 1934. All these were later abolished. The club got its own sports field with gravel surface in 1934, and a grass pitch in 1947. Fagerborg is a neighbourhood in the St. Hanshaugen borough in Oslo, Norway. Frigg Oslo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Majorstua in Oslo. It has sections for association football and bandy. History It was founded on 17 May 1904 as ''SK Frigg'', named after Frigg of Norse mythology. It was merged on 21 April 1954 with ''SK Varg''. It took the name ''Frigg Oslo FK'' in 1990. FK Lyn 2
Norwegian reserve football teams compete at all levels of league football within the Norwegian football league system apart from the top two divisions, Eliteserien and 1. divisjon. The highest league these teams can currently enter is the 2. divisjon, set at the third tier of the league system. The reserve teams are attached to their first teams with a "2" suffix and must play in a lower league than the first team. Furthermore, if a club's first team plays in the 1. divisjon, the reserves team cannot play in the 2. divisjon either. If a reserve team ends up at a promotion spot when it is not allowed to be promoted, the promotion is awarded to best following team in the league standings which is allowed to be promoted. Grei SF
SF Grei is a Norway, Norwegian sports club from Rødtvet, Oslo. It currently has sections for association football, floorball and gymnastics. The women's team cooperated with Linderud IL on the team Linderud-Grei Toppfotball, which played in Toppserien, the highest league, but now exist as Grei Kvinner Elite.
