2005–06 Jordan FA Cup
The 2005–06 Jordan FA Cup is the 26th edition of the Jordan FA Cup since its establishment in 1980. It started on 9 August 2005 and ended on 27 May 2006. The winner of the competition will earn a spot in the 2007 AFC Cup. Shabab Al-Ordon won their first title after a 2–1 win over Al-Faisaly in the final on 27 May 2006. The Jordan FA Cup is Jordan's premier knockout tournament in men's football (soccer), Al-Faisaly have the record for the most FA Cup wins in their history with a total of 21 titles, followed by Al-Wehdat with 11 . Al-Ahli Sports Club ( ar, النادي الأهلي الرياضي الأردني), is one of the oldest clubs in Jordan based in Amman, established in 1944 by a group of pioneers who helped in setting the groundwork of sport, social, and cultural life in Jordan.
