2005–06 Indiana Hoosiers Men's Basketball Team
The 2005–06 Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball team represented Indiana University in the 2005–06 college basketball season. Their head coach was Mike Davis, in his sixth and final season in charge of the Hoosiers. The team played its home games at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, and was a member of the Big Ten Conference. Indiana finished the season with an overall record of 19–12 and a conference record of 9–7, good for 4th place in the Big Ten Conference. After beating Wisconsin in the quarterfinals, the Hoosiers fell to Ohio State in the semifinal of the Big Ten tournament. The Hoosiers then defeated San Diego State Aztecs in the first round of the NCAA tournament before losing to the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the second round. Mike Davis (basketball Coach)
Michael Davis (born September 15, 1960) is an American basketball coach. He is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Detroit Mercy, a position he has held since 2018. Davis served as the head men's basketball coach at Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2006, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) from 2006 to 2012, and Texas Southern University from 2012 to 2018. Playing career Davis, an Alabama native, spent his collegiate playing career with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide after earning the state's Mr. Basketball honor in 1979. In his first season, he played for the legendary C. M. Newton and then spent his final three years playing under another coaching legend, Wimp Sanderson. Kelvin Sampson
Kelvin Dale Sampson (born October 5, 1955) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach for the University of Houston of the American Athletic Conference. Early life Sampson was born in the Lumbee Native American community of Deep Branch in Robeson County, North Carolina, where he excelled in the classroom and the athletic arena during his prep days at Former Pembroke High School, Pembroke High School, in Pembroke, North Carolina. Sampson was captain of his high school basketball team for two years, and played for his father John W. "Ned" Sampson. North Central High School is a public high school in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It is part of the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township. North Central is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. History North Central was established in 1956 in response to Washington Township's rapidly growing population and the desire of residents to have a local high school. Miramar High School is a public high school located in Miramar, Florida. The school opened in 1970 and serves students residing in southwest Broward County; however, magnet students may hail from elsewhere in the county. Miramar High School serves grades 9 through 12. Miramar, Florida
Miramar is a city in southern Broward County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 134,721. It is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which is home to approximately six million people. History Miramar was founded by A.L. Mailman to serve as a "bedroom community" for nearby Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Mailman bought the original property he was to develop from H.D. Perry, Sr. in 1953. Auburn Tigers Men's Basketball
The Auburn Tigers men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Auburn University. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Marco Bernard Killingsworth (born February 21, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. He played in three3 different high schools in Alabama, spending his senior year at Central Park Christian Academy, where he was one of the top players in the nation in the class of 2001. He went on to play three years of college basketball at Auburn, and then transferred to Indiana where he played his senior year.
