The 2005–06 Copa Federación de España was the 13th staging of the Copa Federación de España, a knockout competition for Spanish football clubs in Segunda División B and Tercera División Tercera División () was the fourth tier of the Spanish football league system. Until 1977, it was the third tier of the Spanish football league system. Founded in 1929, it was below the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga), the ''Segund .... UD Puertollano
Club Deportivo Puertollano was a Spanish football team based in Puertollano, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. Founded in 1948 it played in Tercera División – Group 18, holding home matches at '' Estadio Ciudad de Puertollano'', with a capacity of 8,000 seats. History Club Deportivo Puertollano was founded in 1948 as ''Club de Fútbol Calvo Sotelo''. In 1999 the name of the club was changed to ''Unión Deportiva Puertollano'' and, in 2010, it was changed again, this time to ''Club Deportivo Puertollano''. On 1 July 2012 Puertollano was relegated to Tercera División by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, due to non-payment of wages to its players. On 9 July 2014, Puertollano resigned to promote to Segunda División B due to the impossibility of getting an aval of €400,000.

Club Deportivo Lealtad de Villaviciosa (English: Loyalty Sporting Club of Villaviciosa) is a Spanish football team based in Villaviciosa, in the autonomous community of Asturias. CD Villanueva
Club Deportivo Villanueva was a Spanish football team based in Villanueva de Córdoba, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It was founded in 1951 and dissolved in June 2009, it held home matches at ''Estadio San Miguel'', with a capacity of 4,500 seats. History Villanueva first reached the fourth division in 1999, after nearly 50 years in the regional leagues. At the end of the 2004–05 season, after two unsuccessful playoff visits, the club reached the third level for the first time ever. Copa Federación De España (Navarre Tournament)
The Navarre tournament is the previous round of the Copa RFEF in Navarre. Organized by the Navarrese Football Federation, the Navarrese teams in Segunda División B and the best teams of the Tercera División (Group 3) not qualified to the Copa del Rey play this tournament, including farm teams. It is usually played between July and October, and the champion of the tournament qualifies to the National tournament of the Copa RFEF. Format The Cup has been played since 2005, when the Navarrese group split from La Rioja. Played by the teams that did not qualify to Copa del Rey, the format depends on the number of registered teams. The winner receives a €3,000 prize. Copa Federación De España (Castile And León Tournament)
The Castile and León tournament is the previous round of the Copa RFEF in Castile and León. Organized by the Football Federation of Castile and León, the regional teams in Segunda División B and Tercera División (Group 8) that did not qualify for the Copa del Rey can play voluntarily this tournament, including reserve teams. Format The tournament is played between July and October, and the champion of the tournament qualifies to the National tournament of the Copa RFEF.
