CD Villanueva
Club Deportivo Villanueva was a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football team based in Villanueva de Córdoba, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Founded in 1951 and dissolved in June 2009, it held home matches at ''Estadio San Miguel'', with a capacity of 4,500 seats. History Villanueva first reached the Tercera División, fourth division in 1999, after nearly 50 years in the regional leagues. At the end of the 2004–05 Tercera División, 2004–05 season, after two unsuccessful playoff visits, the club reached the Segunda División B, third level for the first time ever. Villanueva returned to division four after two seasons, finishing 18th in 2006–07 Segunda División B, 2006–07. At the end of the 2008–09 Tercera División, 2008–09 campaign, the team did not present itself for two matches, losing its berth in the competition. Javier Lara Grande
Javier "Javi" Lara Grande (born 4 December 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for AD Alcorcón. Club career Born in Montoro, Córdoba, Lara graduated from local Córdoba CF's youth setup, and made his senior debut with the reserves in the 2003–04 season, in the Tercera División. After Segunda División B loan stints with CD Villanueva, Real Unión and Écija Balompié, he moved to another reserve team, UD Almería B, in August 2007. In the summer of 2008, Lara joined RSD Alcalá also of the fourth division. On 20 July 2009, he signed a two-year contract with Elche CF in the Segunda División.
