The 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour was the fourth season of the PGA EuroPro Tour, a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2005 season. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Pound sterling. Simon Robinson (golfer)
Simon Robinson (born 16 February 1981) is an English professional golfer. Robinson was born in Hartlepool. He was successful as a junior, winning both the world and European boys championships. He played college golf at the University of Houston. Robinson turned professional in 2004 and has played predominantly on the lower level tours. In 2005 he won three times on the PGA EuroPro Tour to finish in third place on the Order of Merit and earn his place on the second tier Challenge Tour for 2006. Robinson played on the Challenge Tour for four seasons. His best year was 2008 when he claimed his first title on the tour, the SK Golf Challenge held in Finland, and finished 46th on the end of season rankings. 2006 Challenge Tour
The 2006 Challenge Tour was the 18th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by Wales' Mark Pilkington. Frenchman Adrien Mörk shot the first 59 in the history of the PGA European Tour's three tours at the Tikida Hotels Agadir Moroccan Classic. Richard Johnson (born 2 February 1972) is a Welsh professional golfer. Early life Johnson's father, Peter, is the former pro at Vale of Glamorgan in Cardiff, Wales and is chairman of the PGA in Wales. Peter Johnson is now the professional at Ridgeway Golf Club in Caerphilly. Professional career Johnson played on the PGA Tour's developmental tour from 1999 to 2007. Daniel Stephen Gaunt (born 14 November 1978) is an Australian professional golfer. Gaunt was born in Lancefield, Victoria near Melbourne. His brother Chris is also a professional golfer. Paul Curry (golfer)
Paul Andrew Curry (born 5 May 1961) is an English golfer. Curry was born in Colchester. He turned professional in 1979 and played on the European Tour through most of the 1980s and 1990s. He finished in the top one hundred of the Order of Merit ten times, with a best of 33rd place in 1994, the year he won his only European Tour title, the Jersey European Airways Open. Having lost his place on the European Tour, Curry moved to the United States and won a PGA Tour card at the 1999 qualifying school.
