2004–05 FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup
The 2004/05 FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup was the 14th in a row (12th official) Continental Cup winter season and the 3rd summer season in ski jumping for men. This was also the 1st winter season for ladies and for the first time ladies team event was organized this season. Other competitive circuits this season included the World Cup and Grand Prix. Robert Mateja
Robert Mateja (born 5 October 1974) is a Polish former ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 2008. His best individual World Cup finishes were fifth in Harrachov (large hill) on 14 December 1996, and fifth again in Sapporo on 28 January 2001. His best team finish was third in Villach on 9 December 2001. In the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, Mateja's best finishes were fifth in the large hill individual event in Trondheim (1997) and fifth again in the large hill team event in Sapporo (2007). His best finishes at the Winter Olympics were fifth in the large hill team event (2006) and 20th in the large hill individual event (1998). Adam Małysz
Adam Henryk Małysz (; born 3 December 1977) is a Polish former ski jumper and rally driver. He competed in ski jumping from 1995 to 2011 and is one of the most successful athletes in the history of the sport. His many accomplishments include four World Cup titles (a male record shared with Matti Nykänen), four individual Winter Olympic medals, four individual World Championship gold medals (an all-time record), 39 individual World Cup competition wins, 96 World Cup podiums (individual and team), and being the first male ski jumper to win three consecutive World Cup titles. Andreas Wank
Andreas Wank (; born 18 February 1988) is a German former ski jumper who competed at World Cup level from 2004 to 2019. He currently works in a supporting role as part of the German national ski jumping team. Early career Wank began early on with ski jumping. At only 12 years old, he won the 2000 German schools championship (Deutsche Schülermeisterschaft). In 2001, he reached 3rd place in the Schülercup in the overall standings. Jan Mazoch (born 5 September 1985) is a Czech former ski jumper. He became a regular member of the Czech national team in 2003. Daniel Forfang
Daniel Forfang (born 28 December 1979) is a Norwegian former ski jumper. He had thirty-four World Cup starts, with a fifth place in Kuusamo in 2005 as his best individual result. He also helped win a team competition in Lahti the same year. Forfang retired ahead of the 2006–07 season, feeling that he could not continue the ski jumper's lifestyle, especially pertaining to the pressure of maintaining a low body weight.
