The 2004 UEFA European Under-17 Championship was the third edition of UEFA's European Under-17 Football Championship. France hosted the championship, during 4–15 May. Host France defeated Spain in the final to win the competition for the first time. Hatem Ben Arfa ( ar, حاتم بن عرفة, ; born 7 March 1987) is a French professional association football, footballer who plays as a Winger (association football), winger and attacking midfielder. Fredy Fautrel (born 31 October 1971) is a French football referee. Born in Avranches, Fautrel became a referee in 1993 and has been registered as a Fédéral 1 referee since 2003 meaning he is eligible to officiate Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches, as well as matches in the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue. He also serves as a referee for UEFA and FIFA matches, having become a FIFA referee in 2007. Michael Joseph O'Connor (born 6 October 1987) is a Northern Ireland international footballer who plays as a midfielder for NIFL Premiership club Glenavon. He began his professional career at Crewe Alexandra in 2005, and soon established himself as a first team regular. He was loaned out to Lincoln City in March 2009, and was sold to Scunthorpe United in July 2009 for a £250,000 fee. He spent three seasons with the "Iron", two of which were in the Championship, before he was allowed to sign with Rotherham United in May 2012. Chris Turner (born 3 January 1987) is a Northern Irish footballer. He has been capped at under-19 and under-21 level by Northern Ireland. Club career Turner began his career at Derby County but moved to Ireland to join Sligo Rovers in December 2005 after the club returned to the top flight by winning the First Division title a month earlier. Turner helped Sligo to fifth position in their first season back in the big time and remained at the Showgrounds for the opening half of the 2007 season before signing for Bohemians in the July transfer window. Amboise (; ) is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. Today a small market town, it was once home of the French royal court.
