Kazakhstan Hockey Cup
The Kazakhstan Hockey Cup is the national ice hockey cup in Kazakhstan. It was first played in 2002. Kazzinc-Torpedo has won the most cups, with four, Kazakhmys Satpaev/Karagandy has won three, Saryarka Karaganda, Arlan Kokshetau, Gornyak Rudny and Kulager Petropavl have all won two respectively, Yertis Pavlodar, Arystan Temirtau and Altay Torpedo have both won one apiece. Torpedo Hockey Club ( kk, «Торпедо» хоккей клубы, ''«Torpedo» hokkeı klýby''; russian: Хоккейный клуб «Торпедо»), commonly referred to as Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, formerly known as Kazzinc-Torpedo (1999–2015), is a professional ice hockey team based in Oskemen, Kazakhstan. Torpedo has typically been the most dominant developmental club in Kazakhstan and its senior level team also plays at the Supreme Hockey League (VHL), one step below the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Most Kazakh players who have reached the National Hockey League (NHL) trace their roots to Torpedo. Kazzinc-Torpedo is the most crowned Kazakhstan team, with 13 championship wins. Kazakhmys Hockey Club ( kk, Қазақмыс хоккей клубы, ''Qazaqmys hokkeı klýby''), commonly referred as Kazakhmys Satbayev, is a professional ice hockey team based in Satbayev, Kazakhstan. Yenbek Almaty
Yenbek Almaty (russian: Хоккейный клуб Енбек Алматы, kk, Еңбек Алматы хоккей клубы, ''Eńbek Almaty hokkeı klýby'') was a Soviet and Kazakh ice hockey team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. They were active from 1965 to 1985 and from 1999 to 2009. History The club was founded in 1965 as Avtomobilist Alma-Ata () and played at first in the Soviet Hockey League Class B, the third level of Soviet ice hockey. Two years later, they promoted to Class A2. In 1972, club renamed to Yenbek Alma-Ata (''Yenbek'' means ''Labour'' in Kazakh language). In 1970, Yenbek Alma-Ata achieved a semifinal of Soviet Hockey Cup, where lost to Khimik Voskresensk. Yenbek played six seasons in Class A2 before they collapse in 1975. In 1981, Yenbek was recreated. Yuri Baulin has hired as a new head coach. The team consisted of former Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk players. Barys Astana
Hockey Club Barys ( kk, Барыс хоккей клубы , translit=Barys Hokkei Kluby), also referred to as Barys Astana or HC Barys, is a professional ice hockey team based in Astana, Kazakhstan. It is one of the founding members of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). They play in the league's Chernyshev Division of the Eastern Conference. Their home arena is the Barys Arena, where they have played since the 2015–16 KHL season. Prior to 2015, the team played home games at the Kazakhstan Sports Palace for 14 seasons, beginning in 2001. The head coach is Andrei Skabelka and the president is Boris Ivanishchev. The team serves as a base club for the Kazakhstan national ice hockey team.
