Nicholas Sprenger
Nicholas Sprenger (born 14 May 1985) is an Australian middle-distance freestyle swimmer who won a silver medal in the 4×200-metre freestyle relay at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Coming from Brisbane, Queensland, Sprenger who is coached by Michael Bohl spent the beginning of his career as the understudy of fellow Australians Ian Thorpe and Grant Hackett. After finishing third in the 200-metre freestyle at the 2003 Australian Championships, Sprenger was selected to make his debut at the age of 18 at the 2003 FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain, where he was a part of the 4×200-metre freestyle relay team which won gold ahead of the United States team. Dan Ketchum
Daniel Ketchum (born October 7, 1981) is an American former swimmer and Olympic gold medalist. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, Ketchum earned a gold medal by swimming for the winning U.S. team in the men's 4×200-meter freestyle relay. Ketchum spent two years in Ireland from 1994 to 1996, where he was educated at Villiers School. He swam for the Cincinnati Marlins swim club as an age group swimmer, and later for Sycamore High School in Cincinnati. While swimming for Sycamore High, he won six individual Ohio state swimming championships in 1998, 1999 and 2000—three each in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle events. Matthew Rose (born July 10, 1981) is a Canadian former competition swimmer and national record-holder. He swam for Canada at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where he swam for the Texas A&M Aggies swimming and diving team. He was named the Big 12 Conference's Swimmer of the Year at the 2003 conference meet. Thiago Machado Vilela Pereira (born 26 January 1986) is a retired Brazilian international competition swimmer. One of the greatest swimmers in the history of Brazil, Pereira won the silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, beating the then-current Olympic champion Michael Phelps. César Augusto Cielo Filho (, born 10 January 1987) is a Brazilian competitive swimmer who specializes in sprint events. He is the most successful Brazilian swimmer in history, having obtained three Olympic medals, winning six individual World Championship gold medals and breaking two world records.
