2004 Belgian Super Cup
The 2004 Belgian Supercup was a football match between the winners of the previous season's Belgian First Division and Belgian Cup competitions. The match was contested by Cup winners Club Brugge, and 2004–05 Belgian First Division champions, Anderlecht on 22 December 2004 at the ground of the league champions as usual, in this case the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium. Club Brugge won its twelfth supercup in total, as it beat Anderlecht 2-0 through goals by Sebastian Hermans and Rune Lange. Following 2004 no cup winner has won the supercup and as such Club Brugge is the last team to have accomplished this. Olivier Deschacht
Olivier Deschacht (born 16 February 1981) is a Belgian professional football coach and a former player who played as a left-back or centre-back. He is an assistant coach for the Belgium national under-21 football team. Career Early career At the age of 7, Deschacht began playing for S.K. Begonia Lochristi before he moved to K.A.A. Gent in 1991. He then spent two years (1995–1997) at K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen. Anderlecht In 1997 he signed for R.S.C. Anderlecht to play in their academy. Stijn Stijnen
Stijn Stijnen (; born 7 April 1981) is a Belgian retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and the current manager of Patro Eisden Maasmechelen. He played in 189 Belgian Pro League games during thirteen seasons, mainly with Club Brugge with which he won nine major titles, including two national championships. Hugo Broos
Hugo Henri Broos (born 10 April 1952) is a Belgian football manager and former player. He is the manager of South Africa national soccer team Playing career He started his football career in his hometown Humbeek, playing for KFC Humbeek and was discovered at the early age of eighteen by a scout from RSC Anderlecht. For more than ten years he was their central defender and helped them win three European trophies, three national championships and four Belgian Cups. Between 1974 and 1986 he represented Belgium, gaining 24 caps and finishing fourth at the World Cup in Mexico in 1986. In 1983 Broos switched teams and started playing for Club Brugge. Oleg Yashchuk ( uk, Олег Ростиславович Ящук, born 26 October 1977) is a Ukrainian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He spent most of his career in Belgium and also holds the Belgian nationality. His last name is sometimes transliterated as Iachtchouk or Jasjtsjoek. He now coaches the U14 division of R.S.C. Anderlecht. Club career Iachtchouk was born in Hrybova (Hrynky Rural-rada), Lanivtsi Raion, Ternopil Oblast then Ukrainian SSR. Anthony Henri Vanden Borre (born 24 October 1987) is a Belgian former footballer who played as a defender. Vanden Borre previously played for clubs in Belgium, Italy, England and France. Nenad Jestrović (Serbian Cyrillic: Ненад Јестровић; born 9 May 1976) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Jestrović started his playing career with Radnički Obrenovac in the early 1990s. He then played for OFK Beograd in the First League of FR Yugoslavia, before moving abroad for the first time in the summer of 1997. Mbo Jérôme Mpenza (born 4 December 1976) is a Belgian former professional football player and coach, who played as a striker. He was capped by Belgium at international level, scoring three goals in 56 appearances. His younger brother, Émile, is also a former footballer who represented Belgium. Jonathan Fernand Jean Legear (born 13 April 1987) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for RCS Verlaine in the fourth-tier Belgian Division 2. Club career Legear moved to Anderlecht from their rivals Standard Liège in 2003. He scored his first goal in the Jupiler League against Standard Liège in the 2004–05 season.
